On the up upside, you didn't actually say anything substantive.
Let's see. . . your entire post was a link to Breitbart, and you accuse me of not saying anything substantive?

Nice to meet you, pot.

The reason I don't say anything of substance to you is that you're a Twue Bewiever. Punching through your delusions is, sadly, beyond the state of the art in psychopharmaceuticals.

Whatever. I'm not interested in your paranoid delusions. I called you on your Godwinism, you appeared to be claiming that you weren't Godwinning, so I demonstrated that you were.
In Mike Godwin’s 1994 Wired article, Meme, Counter-meme he explains how he ‘seeded’ the Law as a trivialization/counter-point to the gratuitous Nazi comparisons found on Usenet groups.

The key word is GRATUITOUS! Nothing gratuitous about calling her Hitlery if she's going to act like him.

I am sure that you have made tens, if not hundreds of dollars in R/E over the years

Even more ironic that he hasn't built a golf course there (yet).

It's always a risk in trying to do something with a large swath of useless space and hoping that it gains some kind of value in time.

Re: Why won't Donald Trump release his tax returns?

Why not? Could he have inflated his net worth? maybe hiding some business deals? Charitable donations may have been inflated a bit? Tax shells or questionable investors perhaps? If I was him I would not provide my returns, nothing says he has too, so why? It's not as if his following will care and the ones who should care, would be off the hook.

Shouldn't a guy's tax returns be a private matter between him and the I.R.S.?

I put a search for that line in your link., to see if that was a quote from the article....wasn't there.
This means it was simply an empty statement from you unless you can prove it!

So Prove It

Look at his tax returns.

Re: Trump suggests assassinating Clinton

Keeping Trump on topic seems to be almost impossible. All Clinton has to do is keep her mouth shut and let Trump's mouth work for her. So far it's winning her the campaign.

I think one of these days people will come to realize that "walking the walk" and competence is what is important to become POTUS. So far we've just been listening to "talking the talk" and people of substance realize "the talk" is very small potatoes. GO TRUMP GO!

Do you have to lose rights and freedoms to run for President?

It seems that it depends on which candidate is running for President.
One can be as suspect as she wants and there are no consequences, no in-depth enquiries.
The other should be muzzled and scrutinized for every word he speaks and every detail of his life both private and public and convicted by the court of public opinion.

Re: Trump suggests assassinating Clinton

Trump is a terrorist.

But it's really irrelevant what Trump actually meant, because enough people will hear Trump's comments and think he's calling for people to take up arms against Clinton, her judges or both. Though most of the people hearing that call may claim he was joking, given what we know about people taking up arms in this country, there will undoubtedly be some people who think he was serious and consider the possibility.

In other words, what Trump just did is engage in so-called stochastic terrorism. This is an obscure and non-legal term that has been occasionally discussed in the academic world for the past decade and a half, and it applies with precision here. Stochastic terrorism, as described by a blogger who summarized the concept several years back, means using language and other forms of communication "to incite random actors to carry out violent or terrorist acts that are statistically predictable but individually unpredictable."

Odd ... In simpler terms, it was called code. BBC used it well with Resistance (just in case it needs to be spelled out for they who would argue black is white in a grey zone)

Oh dear. Here we go again.

One more time, for the exceptionally slow students. Mr. Trump's precious rights are not being trampled. Nobody, and especially not the government, is forcing him to release his taxes. He is perfectly free to refuse, and deal with the fact that some people will think this is dishonest of him, and decline to vote for him.

You Old Stock Canadians, like Real Americans, sure are fast on the whine trigger when your "rights" are being "violated," i.e., when somebody disagrees with you. It hurts your feels so, sooooooo bad.

I look forward to the hope that some day, somehow, you will come to understand the difference between your rights and whatever you feel like.
