God, you are drinking the Kool Aid by the bucket load.

I'd rather a corrupt government that is corporate friendly and keeping people working, than a corrupt government like the NDP that is doing back room deals and greening 200,000 + Albertans out of work and telling them to leave the province.

Phillips' and MF's ramblings aside, the price of oil will rebound and the boom and bust cycle will continue...as it always has.

No need to cry there champ.

AB has proven reserves of 166 billion bbls of oil in the oilsands alone. Add in the probable reserves, let alone the conventional oil and, well, North Americans will be burning that oil for centuries to come.

But, on a sad note; donations to the eco-charities is way down in the last couple of years.... Seems like no one believes in them anymore

It's sad that a former commie has more sense than today's conservatives but that is the world we live in.

i still don't understand how the NDP even got power... Desperation?

And if she was in fact a former commie, then WOW... The commie in our riding although a capable math teacher at my school back in the day was still out of his mind not to be taken seriously.

It's funny. I talked to a few folks after the NDP got a majority and they were stunned at the result. A lot of people thought they were just going to teach the Conservatives a lesson. They never thought they'd get a majority. I remember hearing the same thing in Ontario when Bob Rae took power.

It lasted a total of one term.

here in alberta, one term is better then no term.

Except they're on top again.

i do admit, presenting these graphs is sort of off the beaten path,Conservatives love graphs which noone can understand, including themselves.

When you look back, Mike Harris and the new Liberals are way worse than anything the NDP did.
