Harper has zero GDP growth and gave us a technical recession.
(He had a small dick)

He wasn't perfect, but at least he tried his best to solve the problem rather than just postpone it. Had he done like Trudeau is doing, sure the economy might have fared better, but the debt would have grown. Trudeau is just making the situation worse for his successor.

This is the most constructive thing Trump has done in office. It corresponds totally to the National System of Political Economy (also known as the American System) that originated with Alexander Hamilton and built the world's largest and most dynamic economy. That has been eviscerated by Free Trade over the last 40 years. It is a step, and only a step, in rebuilding an integrated national industrial economy in the U.S.

Canada will have to respond and that will require vision and strength of character. It has the means and resources to do so and that also is in our origins with the National Policy of John A. MacDonald. But we are left with the pathetic litte globalilst lap dog, Justin, who has not a clue of what's happening and lives in a fantasy world of of empty slogans and deceptive ideologies.

Republican lawmakers move to block Trump’s steel and aluminum tariffs
https://www.thestar.com/news/world/...-block-trumps-steel-and-aluminum-tariffs.html
This is so funny.

Trump gets his panties in a knot and lashes out with tariffs that only the lefties could love.

The US steel union guy has already said they are for it as long as its against China and not Canada.

And btw this is a China issue - as a said originally.

In I believe 03 the Chinese first came to the table and said they would start to limit their steel exports.

Their exports have quadrupled and they are still saying they will limit their exports.

Nobody can win against that economy. They are simply too big and too cheap. Their dumping of steel has destroyed the market and Trump is not wrong to go after them - he is just far too stupid to do so effectively.

Of course being a politically correct democrat you would never suggest that engaging in homosexual encounters is anything but normal .

if you had more than half a brain you would have realized by now that I have stated I am not a democrat

as for the Log Cabinites, they are ok as they have their rights just like everyone else

That's why they are called the "Left".

I agree besides which the crap we get from China is junk! Ask any engineer (I'm sure" and they'll tell you that when it comes to steel, to either buy Canadian or US simply because it's far superior than anything that the Chinese import.

The same with a lot of the stuff they import to us. While it's all well and good to "price check" one is far better off paying a bit more to have an actual working item than pay less and have a piece of crap.

Ah, do you mean that the 'left' 'leaves' the problem as a 'leftover' for his successor once he 'leaves.'

So instead of right and left, it's really just leavers and doers?

That, or left behind.
;)
They are also famous for all the work they have left to slaves while blaming antislavers for that mess which they themselves have created.

Yeah ONLY 26% which is EFFE ALL!!!
(That percentage is a FAIL..ask any teacher!!!)

So they needed the steel to make robots who work in plastic.
;)
The eu has up to 70% tariffs on chinese steel, so what trump wants is insignificant compared to that.

It's just something for the trumphaters to get delusional about and lose their sh*t over.

Why would Canada oppose dumping? Serious! If another country forces its taxpayers to subsidize a product that Canadian consumers consume, why should we as Canadian consumer complain about it? That means that country is either borrowing money to subsidize that product (which gives us an opportunity to make money by lending to that government) or it's taxing other industries to subsidize that one) which then gives our other industries an advantage over theirs except for the one industry it's subsidizing) or worker are paying the tax (in which case it's a freeby for Canadian consumers).

Think about it.
