Yes, the many millions who listen to him everyday; more than any other radio host. Also, there is no lefty talk radio to speak of.
Ah, the argumentum ad populum. You do know that most people also thought the planet was flat at one time, too, right? It didn't make them intelligent or even right.

People listen toCBC?
We do. Mostly Radio 2 or 3, but sometimes the clutter station.

Many liberal radio hosts have tried to compete over the past 30 plus years. Those very few that hang on in the major metropolitan markets ALWAYS have a very small market share. Barely enough, in most cases, to even remain on the air. They almost always gradually lose their audience, and drop off the air one by one.

In the meantime, Rush makes millions every year, and he laughs at the libs that keep trying to knock him down.
Ah, argumentum ad aurum. lol Making millions doesn't make him intelligent or correct about whatever he yaps off about.

In the 1990s Rush Limbaugh had a weekly audience of about 20 million (however they calculate that)... last i heard that's down to about 13 million.. mostly drooling malcontents, confined to trailer parks, fingering their assault weapon knock-offs.

He's long ceased to be a political force in the States, ignored even by the Left. His viewership demographics make him of little interest to advertisers.. except those selling survivalist gear. I can't remember the last time i heard him.. 10 years at least.

Excellent point.
I can't even remember the last time I listened to Limbaugh. Heck, If I want Paranoid Shiitzo-phrenia I'll grow it myself!
Rush is 'chreap feature' for radio 's that broadcast contests at work.

The first 'big radio' was Crossley Broadcasting'- 500,000 wattts out of Marion Ohio, hammered nationwide. But it was orchestras, comedy, Roseveldt's fireside chats, Voice of America.

Plus th ehoning station for the DC-3's refuelking at Cinncinati for the Coast to Cost sleeper...

The thing is that the right likes to get anrgy and the left likes to ridicule. That's why there's there's no decent lefty talk radio or rightie comedians.

Rush Limbaugh on Obama's reaction to Libya:
"This guy's got a chip on his shoulder about the country. He doesn't believe in exceptionalism about America, doesn't believe in America's greatness. One of the reasons he's not doing anything in Libya with Khadafy -- has anybody got a clue? -- is he doesn't believe we have the moral authority to do anything other than mouth a bunch of words in the first place." - 7 March, 2011

"We had a caller say, 'Why doesn't Obama stop the bullying in the Middle East?' I think it would help everybody to recall what Obama's opinion of this country is. He thinks this country has been a bully in the world. Look, you know it and I know it. He believes that this country is a bully. It's one of the reasons why he's not doing anything in Libya." - 10 March 2011

"Okay, so here's Libya. He doesn't even seem to care much less do anything about it, and people chalk it up to traditional explanations. "Well, he's looking at polling data, can't go in there because he criticized Bush, would look bad," all the standard conventional wisdom stuff of people trying to come up with the explanation. That's not it.

It's very simple. He doesn't look at America as the solution. We're the problem. He doesn't think the United States has any moral authority in places like Libya. In fact, I would venture to say that if you get Obama to be honest, he'd tell you that there have been times in our history when we have been Libya. We're no different. He probably thinks, who are we telling Khadafy what to do? Who are we to stand up for people around the world who want freedom? Hell, the way Obama looks at it, we've been denying freedom to our own citizens for who knows how long. I'm serious. I think the explanations for Obama's inaction, indecision are quite simple. He just doesn't have the view of America as an exceptional place, as a solution to the world's problems. He just doesn't." - 17 March, 2011

Ok, we kinda get the idea that Limbaugh thought Obama wasn't doing anything about Khaddafy but should have been.

Then later, Breaking: US Launches Military Action Against Libya | Video | TheBlaze.com

then Limbaugh squawks about Obama for taking action against Libya. The mouthpiece is a two-faced cretin who doesn't give a crap about anything except his bank account.

For those too lazy to try reading first before commenting, I'll quote the first two paragraphs of the article...

"In a major shakeup for the radio industry, Cumulus Media, the second-biggest broadcaster in the country, is planning to drop both Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity from its stations at the end of the year, an industry source told POLITICO on Sunday.

Cumulus has decided that it will not renew its contracts with either host, the source said, a move that would remove the two most highly rated conservative talk personalities from more than 40 Cumulus channels in major markets."
