*sigh*, the concept of equalization should be abolished.

It's in the Constitution...not easy to abolish. None the less, if you're going to bitch and moan about it, you ought to know what something about it.

Durry. Move to a Province on the receiving end and the confusion will cease.

Ah, because bureaucracy is a self perpetuating institution of continuous growth. Trim off all the fat cats in bureaucracy an you would have massive unemployment.
Get rid of the fat pussies eh? "Running" for the last election began right after the one prior to the last. They been running for 6 years and nobody has lost a gram of fat.

The lesson that should be learned from last year's mayoral election is that the public does not scrutinize the government enough and they are easily swindled by promises of money grants - especially tax cuts.

Any time there is a campaign promise for our fiscal benefit, we need to follow up with demands for transparency. If the government does not comply, it's the media's responsibility to call them out on it and make sure that the public is aware that avoiding transparency is clearly a red flag.

How tough is he? I bet my mayor could kick the **** out of him. He was Canadian boxing champ.
A former Canadian Boxing Champion, Mayor Fiacco is an internationally
accredited Olympic referee and judge for boxing and is the first Canadian
appointed to the International Boxing Associations Referring and Judging
Commission. He’s an avid runner and triathlete having completed the Canadian
Ironman in 2008 and several marathons.

The city has cut back on subway trains and buses during rush hours

There has been no cut backs during rush hour, that's a complete fabrication. I take the subway everyday during rush hour and what you state is entirely false.
