lol, once again snfu, ARE YOU GAY?! lol. You obess on the issue to much to be straight.
Why...are you asking me on a date? I'm flattered an all...but your not my type...the right wing zealot isn't really the kind of person I generally go for...:) I'm afraid all we would do on a date is sit at your place, watch FOX news and complain about immigrants and quebec all night. That doesn't sound fun to me...:)

SNFU

The topic is still homosexuality right? Gay agenda or whatever that means?

I have a question for SNFU and without getting his defensive stuff going:
I would like to know why you autumatically assume a group of people as diverse as the ones here are going to be down on the gay community and come out leading with your chin ready for a fight?

The stats are in your favor actually:
Most people in the regular world, doing regular "trying to survive" stuff rarely think about homosexuality...

Then there are the ones who have gay friends (as do I) and still rarely think about homosexuality....

Then there are the gays themselves who seem to be on the defensive because of their preferences and group most people as adversaries in their fight for acceptance.

And a small (and shrinking) group of straights who are actively oppressing anything about the gay community - and are losing whatever imaginary war they seem to be perpetuating. It's like fighting feathers and they should relax and give it up in the name of "love thy brother and sister" in the truest sense of the word.

Why does it have to be a fight at all any more? I see the gay community winning and reaching their goals in many communities to the point they rarely differentiate in a group their own style...at least my three gay friends hardly ever discuss the subject because they are comfortable in their own lifestyle and have way more interesting facets in their lives to offer their hetero friends than their sexual preferences....

Heterosexual people don't go around being "straight" do they? Maybe some do but that would be another kind of insecurity.... why do gay people have this mechanism at work much of the time? It seems a waste of a good person challenging everyone.

All I know about my three friends - they are real people and have so many great talents, "gayness" is but a small part of their personae. I have known them for over nine years now and they've never changed - but climbed the mountain to self-realization and found more adventures and challenges waiting - which had nothing to do with their sexuality.
