You neglected to mention that Sgt Preston was always assisted by Yukon King (the Wonder Dog).

Gotta give credit where credit is due.
True indeed. Just as Constable Fraser had his life saved regularly by his faithful companion Diefenbaker, the deaf half-wolf.

Wasn't it the "deranged person" who started the whole process?

Maybe it was. My point is that I want an official open inquiry to find that in it's deliberation. Not various government unsworn mouth pieces. The whole episode is evidence poor and way to damned convieniently situated in time and place.

Good to see that there were a number of high profile, hard working canines that kept law and order in tact in the North.... Although, naming a dog after Dief the Cheif (cool name an all) is somewhat suspect... I generally don't associate courageousness and and super-hero-esque qualities with politicians

What is Mr Vickers like? What was his official statement given under oath after he allegedly shot the alleged
lone domestic terrorists.

Better than you could possibly be in your wildest fantasies.

Sorry, dark, you can be amusing at times, and you even make a good point now and then. But you ain't no Vickers, and you never could have been.

Don't feel bad. I ain't neither.

I don't know you so I can't say you would be this or that but I'm dead certain I could not be a Mr Vickers nor would anyone else who had a modicum of self respect. As far as I'm concerned he's not fit for any position in any Canadian parliament. Israel is a brutal aparthied regime and Canada is debased and shamed by every diplomatic contact with it.

Suspicious Canada Shooting Triggers ‘Minority Report’ Pre-Crime Plans for ‘Preventive Arrests’

Cartalucci goes on to point out another troubling detail. Like so many other heavily publicized terror attacks, Zehaf-Bibeau was already under both Canadian and U.S. government surveillance prior to the event, with the suspected shooter listed as a “high-risk traveler” who had his passport revoked prior to the shooting:
It is very likely that the recent attacks in Canada involved at least one “informant” working for the FBI. Because the FBI uses confidential informants to handle suspects, if a plot is switched “live,” the informant will be implicated as an accomplice and the FBI’s covert role will remain uncompromised…
With both suspects having been on both US and Canadian watch lists – it is very likely undercover agents were involved in either one or both cases. While many possibilities exist, Western security agencies should be among the first suspects considered as potential collaborators…
And of course —
Conveniently, both suspects are now dead and little chance remains of ascertaining the truth of who they were in contact with and how they carried out their deadly attacks.
Canada’s domestic terror threat level was quietly elevated just days before by CSIS intelligence, issuing a medium-level ‘could occur’ threat advisory for the first time since 2010. Unlike the often hyped and exaggerated public threat assessments in the U.S., this was an internal determination among the intelligence agencies, and signals likely prior knowledge.
So what did they know and when did they really know it?

What the speaker did was get his pistol from his desk, go down the hall to engage the shooter, then shot him dead.

lol... dumb azz. Wrong again

.... You would have played the role of Rambo, right?

Stare death in the eyes, standing at the edge of the abyss, a manly tear in yer eye as you prepared to sacrifice yourself for the betterment of humanity and all eeeeevil in the universe?

.. Of course you would, after all, you've seen a lot of movies where that is done and by virtue of that secondary experience, you have it all planned out.

He fought against NATO's Adversaries don't you know.
