Hardly on the forum these days, and I'm still living in your head, friggin pathetic.
Still a herocrite, too. Speaking of pathetic.

But it certainly can be discussed can it not? Isn't that the reason for CC to begin with? To "discuss" various topics that are of interest to people? We may not be able to "solve" all problems, but we can certainly talk about them to see if somehow, either individually or as a group of concerned citizens come to some sort of resolution can we not?

Just askin... 'cuz if we can't talk about it, what's the point of CC?

Just applying the standard, Dixie. Every time Gore or Suzuki takes a plane, the right screams "hypocrisy!"

Well, I can't help but notice that there's precious few veterans among those who're slobbering most copiously to go after DOUCHE. Most of 'em, because of their age, had the chance to sign up against the Soviet Union and international communism, an existential threat beside which militant Islam is a fart in a hurricane.

Kinda makes a body wonder where these heroes were when it was their turn to stand up and be counted.

Really? So leftards were welcoming Soviet commies to Canada and letting them shove their idiotic ideology down our throats by giving them extra super special Charter protection?

What some have not clued into is the fact most Canadians approve to the seven hundred million
being spent. I know its hard for some to realize Canadians rejected the former government as it
did not want to spend money on it. Canadians want a different agenda and they are getting it.

Compassionate, Humane and Helpful? When did we become that? We have homeless, hungry people who were born and raised in this country. Where is the compassion, humanity and helpfulness for them? You see them as lazy bums right? Get a job you say. That is true about some of them. I know so because I see Help Wanted signs. How many of our own citizens are working but living in poverty? How many drive an old beater that they actually live in? We're so kind and giving that once a year, like now, we give to the food banks. People are not hungry just in December. They are not cold, wet and in need of a bath just once in awhile. For all of you who think we must bring the refugees in before we help those already in need, what's wrong with you? The refugees do need assistance. They need to learnh how to be in control of their own country. Canada cannot just afford to bring in thousands of people to house, feed and educate. Just remember - For all Trudeau hands out in his "totally transparent gov't," the cost comes back on us. Higher University costs, higher taxes, higher everything. Less for the already homeless and the hungry. We are stupid because we did some whining but not loud enough and the all powerful,is doing exactly what he wants.

Maybe!

Actually our country can afford $700 million! It's just a matter of getting it from the right people. Let's make it $1.4 billion & also help some of our own. Split it up among the top 1% of Canadians (I'm sure Jimmy Pattison will donate w/o even blinking) no one will be suffering & it will be much alleviated to those who are!

Yep, as long as that agenda doesn't involve shining the spotlight on our own little piece of third world hell right here in Canada. Seems like they'll vote for anything that distracts from the very real problems too many Canadians have.
Maybe some of these do-gooders that support this measure should get off their privileged little asses and go see how many of our Native people's actually live.

Spoiler alert: Having a roof and four walls doesn't mean you're not homeless.

I suppose. But are you going to do anything?
Any putz can post articles from the news. Just ask mental loss. That is not doing anything about the problem, though, is it.

Got any ideas of what we can do? We don't have recall legislation federally so other than getting the message out there that trudeOWe prefers to spend our tax dollars on foreigners rather than less fortunate Canadians there is not a lot we can legally do until the next election.

Maybe!

Awful generous with OPM today. You join the liberal party?

Find us one. People may have foolishly voted for change but they were thinking about change at home, not financing the world.
Maybe you would like to donate a few tons of apples to the poor.

Like that's liable to happen!! Learned my lesson 20 years ago - I wouldn't align myself with any party. My philosophy, however, is changing as years go by. You know the old saying ............"the rich get richer and the poor get poorer", well I think it's past time to start closing up that gap.

Got any ideas of what we can do?

Speaking for the little guys not much! I sent a couple of bucks to the Sally Ann and the War Amps, but that just barely covers the postage on all the requests I get for money. :) :)

It isn't the cost that's annoying, it's the smug self righteousness, while other refugees are ignored and not treated equally.

That is truly embarrassing.
