Appararently several years ago Stephen Harper replaced the head honcho with a civilian contrary to the old practice of someone who had risen through the ranks. Now it seems sh*t is hitting the fan.

Having friends that are former RCMP - and Police- He is hitting the wall - many will disagree with changes - Will he make mistakes - Yes - will he be up against the old boys and the school - Yes - Will he be punted - No -
The RCMP needs a good cleaning from the top down.
To many disasters in policing - Do i still have respect for the RCMP Officers on the ground- Yes - but it is in trouble.
Yep, you just vote for the least dispicable..:lol::lol::lol: Maybe there was a method to Harper's madness, by throwing in a "loose cannon" he'd hope they'd self-destruct. :lol:
The reaction from the RCMP Snr Brass would be identical to how DND interferes as much as possible with the DND Ombudsman. Thye hated the 1st one - Andre Marin.
Now when you want changes and everyone below you throw up roadblocks, slow in implementing and so forth - i can understand him losing his cool. 1 man against a big crowd.
