Teeth stolen from dead orca in B.C.

Not whitie's realm. You don't see whitie hitting the binders to pluck quills or feathers every time they see a dead porcupine, hawk, owl, eagle that got smoked as roadkill.
The reason people are upset with the teeth being taken (I object to the word stolen) is that the teeth may have clues as to her exact cause of death. This one orca was fairly important in that this animal had a almost fully formed calf ready for birth. She was of prime breeding age and would have produced several calves through out her life time. The population for this particular pod is in decline.
There should have been several calves born to this pod in the last 2 years. Non of the orcas born in that time frame have survived.

But for those on here with a human superiority complex (speciesists) , that don't mean jack.
Hawks and eagles are rarely roadkill. Those creatures have to be taken or found dead.
The talons, beaks and feathers of hawks and eagles can be made into wonderful trinkets and souvenirs. That's why the US Govt. had to pass a law forbidding the practice.
Obviously some people of presumed pallor thought the teeth of an orca would be useful for profit or pleasure. That's why they were taken. People of Pallor are pleased as punch by souvenirs.

DOZENS of these dead puppies per mile litter our local highways. Easy food means plenty of road kill birds to go along.
They're best deep fried. That's some mighty good eatin'.
They may have already been in a glass.
Plenty of dead people have had their heart, liver, eyes, lungs, kidneys removed for organ transplants. The whale is dead and has no relatives which would miss the teeth. If it was important that they not be removed, they should have posted a guard.
Yeah, I wonder why they didn't post a guard. They've done it before.
I can imagine that if I came across a dead orca, I'd likely take a couple of teeth if I could. I have a the skull cap of a young deer with antlers, black bear skull and bear claws at home. All found while hiking. The bear skull sits on my fireplace mantle. He's currently wearing a santa hat and surrounded by christmas lights.
There's a very good chance the teeth were taken for the same reason and now, even if they wanted to return them, their probably afraid. The backlash from the public would immense and frightening.
I like how you jump to contusions. You don't know they were removed for profit. I think you are mirroring. If it was for profit they probably would have taken more.
BTW: that is not a spelling error.
Injuns will be injuns. They found the teeth. They were just sitting there. Nobody was using them just like how they found my lawn mower.
