70k out of a city of how many? It would seem that most had fled before ISIS took control.

Wakeup Call: 'Humanitarian Aid in Syria is Used as Weapon of War'

Who is checking the loads going in? Should it not be the same entity that is checking the Russian ones that have been going into the Ukraine for several years now?

Another classic reload time for the West is during any ceasefire. In the case of ISIS nobody can hear that call because of all the bombs going off.

Most 'headlines' in the media shows if they are true or not withing about a week of less. I doubt the West publishes anything that is supportive of Assad and Putin winning a war where they are on the moral side of the line and everybody on the other side is corrupt to one degree of another.
I'm quite willing to read the links you supply (or ES) and look at it with the propaganda filter on based on words and then actions concerning those same words in the 'near future'. Considering the age of Syria's Arab Spring I don't thing 'war' can be declared by any participant. That also leaves the door open for a lasting cease-fire, rather than one that has some devious undercurrents, before any great escalation has to take place.
At best those links are verified or they aren't in that first week. If the West covers the same story it is 3 days later.

Both sides could have flaws that make them unsuitable for sending a person to death without some more 'paperwork' or video. One recent headline promotes that Turkey killed 150 Kurds by fire. An investigation might show it was ISIS Commanders calling in an Turkish airstrike on the Rebels that were not going to be alive for a ride out of the area. If the US has a rebuttal to any part I'm sure it will make it's appearance.
I would promote that we are in better position to protect Mexico than we are Turkey. Difference between checkers and chess.

You two must feel right at home then. If you trolls would like to post in another thread I'm not sure why you think that would upset me at all? You two are only 2nd level and 3rd level troll anyway.

Next it will be the Bong people that are the enemy. When you come from that land you think too much to being with and when you start having answers for question you get marked for termination. Think of this place as your test by fire (by the trolls here) for the aspect of that concept. Only one other people have managed to survive for years after they had been marked for extermination so are in good company. You ever going to publish your memoirs?

TEHRAN (FNA)- Informed sources disclosed that a US-made helicopter has taken several senior ISIL leaders out of Anbar province in Western Iraq to an unknown location.
"A US chopper landed in a farm near the main road linking al-Saqlaviyeh to Fallujah in Anbar province and took off after one hour with ISIL leaders on board," the Arabic-language Sama Baghdad news website quoted informed Iraqi sources in Fallujah city as saying on Sunday.
The sources noted that several ISIL leaders had gathered in Fallujah farm as if they had been informed of the helicopter's imminent landing in the farm.
In a relevant development on February 13, senior Iraqi security sources lashed out at the US and its regional allies for supporting Takfiri terrorists in Iraq, and said that Washington is the main cause of ISIL's survival in his country.
"We have compelling evidence that a US helicopter landed in Albu Arim palms of Fallujah city to take out the ISIL leaders who were in contact with the Americans," a senior Iraqi security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told FNA.
He noted that other US aircraft were flying over the region to protect the airplane which was boarding the ISIL leaders, adding, "The US took out the ISIL leaders in order to rescue them from possible attacks by the Iraqi Army and security forces."

Here is a good example of political double-speak from the area. What should be noted is that when Hezbollah won an election a few years back the former leader high-tailed it Saudi and that has been his home since and only recently has he stuck his nose back into Lebanon's political arena. He had more to do with his own fathers assassination than Hezbollah or Syria did. Looks like they should have an election after Syria does in April 17. (just about Passover time this year)

It would be in Syria's best interest to eliminate ISIS at the Turkish border and put the 'no-fly zone as being 30k into Turkey as they are the claiming to be in danger already. Moving forces int any territory 'south of the border' will only increase the danger for them.

And I don't want him to fall soon. Geez... look at the mess in Libya!

I'm digging the quagmire though.
