It is not up to me to answer I am not suggesting intervention. But, those that do must think there is a cost benefit. So, I await Goober's reply.

Well don't you think your question is kind of... off a bit? What answer could there possibly be?

There is no upside unless there is oil to steal. What was gained in Afghanistan? Not the official version, the real one.

Oh yeah... we stole all the oil in Afghanistan! We stole it all in Iraq! Canada stole all the oil in Libya!

Do you proof read your posts at all?

Do you have a reading comprehension deficit?

We are talking about Syria. You are stealing oil in Iraq. We are stealing oil in Libya. What was stolen from Afghanistan was my question.

Nat gas.

Lithium for "green" electric cars and laptops.
We have lithium boiling out of the ground 20 minutes from here at Halcyon Hot Springs.

There is nothing "green" about electric cars or laptops that use batteries. There are alternatives but, we have been down this road before. The only thing holding us back is the capitalist, free market mindset.
