Trouble? I have no problem finding the shallow or simple minded. There is no twisting necessary. Your statement is very easy to see and interpret. You not being able to recognise what you are saying is just a reflection on your intelligence, or maybe lack of.

I have made it very clear over the years that I am an "equal opportunity" a$$hole. Not even Bear, Das, Zan, Karie or RCS get a pass. So, that being said, if you say something stupid or hypocritical, you can be sure I will comment on it.

I don't care about a "pass", I'm not looking for one.

I am just stating, flat out, you are interpreting it wrong. Thus far the only two who seem to be seeing it the way you say it is meant are you and Blackleaf. Enjoy that meeting of the minds, lol, speaking of simple and shallow.

Yup, simple and shallow is what you need to own right now.

Also, I don't see anyone saying sweet pi$$ all about your post, except for BL and I. Just because no one else is willing to go up against you, doesn't mean you are right.

Let's just be clear here. You are not discussing whether what I said is right or wrong. You are telling me what I meant even when I say, no that's not what I mean.

If you want to challenge me on the actual position I'm taking, fine. No problem, I'll go toe to toe with you.

But if all you're going to do is tell me that I'm saying something that I'm not, well you can have the rest of that conversation with yourself.

You are either lying to yourself, or you are trying to lie to everyone else. Either way, I really don't give a rats a$$. You've been caught.

By stating that one should not tell someone what they can and can't wear, you are giving them carte blanche to wear what ever they want. If you can't see that, then you are a complete moron.

All I am saying is that I (i.e. me personally) find it offensive to see a woman wearing a burka because of what it stands for - misogyny.
I find it offensive not only to me but to ALL women and I don't believe for a moment that women who wear it are doing it "because they want to" That's what they want you to believe but I don't believe it's factual.

I find it offensive to see women wearing tops unless the weather demands. Seeing as how being topless is legal in Canada, and covering the. . . ahem!. . . poitrine. . . is sexist repression, Canada should pass a law requiring all women to go topless in any environment (indoor or outdoor) that's over 22 degrees.

I find stupidity offensive, especially my own, that is why I am continually studying so as to be less stupid.

I wish gov'ts would go naked (figuratively speaking. following pun intended). Prime ministers, kings, queens, EMPERORS, etc. alike.
