If one was interested in the weather the slight warming and cooling trends should be enough to determine which part of the North American Rift is expanding at a faster or slower rate. That would also give the delay from where the heat is first injected into the water and when the heat transfers from the water to the air,
So, Sweden's current heat wave is unprecedented - except for the one they had 260 years ago when CO2 levels were lower than today.
