Speaking of total idiots, we ship Canadian thermal coal to China. Although over the last couple of years it's only been around 2 million tons a year. I posted an actual REAL link in that thread showing that from Natural Resources Canada. Or are you going to say you know more than they do? But since you claim to not read my posts, I guess you'd rather argue from a perspective of gross ignorance as a result of your idiotic emotional relativism.
We send no Canadian thermal coal to China.

In fact we ship no Canadian thermal coal out of Vancouver.

actually you don't see at all.

Canada ships met coal. Not thermal coal. The only thermal coal going through Vancouver comes from America and is not bound for China.

You can still buy thermal coal from the Quinsam mine on the island.. Sorry to burst your bubble

I see that you're still in denial... Exactly who do you think the Americans are selling that thermal coal to?

Canada does not ship any thermal coal out of Vancouver - you bubble burster you.

The American coal goes to Chile/Japan/South Korea

B.C.
I see... So, I take it that BC passed legislation that restricts the Chinese industrial complex from generating any electricity from the coal out of YVR?

That's a good fact to know
Don’t even bother Captain , he will take your comments out of context , change your words and argue semantics till the sun comes home , yet strangely he will never counter the point you are making . And you must be a white natty for daring to hold a somewhat different opinion then his .

no, still you.
 You silly little dickweed. Your argument isn't with me, it's with Natural Resources Canada, StatsCan and the NEB.

From StatsCan: https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/t1/tbl1/en/tv.action?pid=2510004601 You can see the thermal coal exports for the last quarter of 2018 plus Jan 2019.

From the NEB: https://www.neb-one.gc.ca/nrg/ntgrtd/mrkt/snpsht/2018/09-01cndnclprdctn-eng.html
Any thermal coal that is surplus to power generation is exported.

From Natural Resources Canada: https://www.nrcan.gc.ca/energy/facts/coal/20071
Canada's exports are primarily metallurgical coal (93% in 2017).
Which means that 7% of coal exports are thermal coal. And since the vast bulk of that coal is bound for Asia, guess where the f*ck it gets shipped from. Go ahead, I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count.

Or are you suggesting that these organs of the Groper govt are in fact lying about coal exports.
