*** Closest I've ever come to the advertised speeds recently :)

(I'm also in the top40 on the broadband reports test results page, looks like im semi-lucky! I would not exactly consider around 10 phone calls to rogers per month lucky, but I've demanded half-price for many months service was terrible, and I got it.

In this case I'd wonder why if the quality of service has gone downhill so much for months without signs of improving, why don't you switch?

http://www.canadianisp.com has a list of broadband providers, theres a number of good fast providers around, rogers is like getting on your BMX and racing a porsche...

Hahaha, I like your analogy... it's not *that bad* yet.. We'll see where it goes. I've heard news Bell might cut the bitcap stuff, but not sure yet... I've encouraged all of my close friends and family to switch from Sympatico to either THT or AEI, and I've moved about 7 or 8 people from Bell. Are they still losing customers?

I'm on Primus DSL. I signed up for 1.5 meg service. I did a speed test and it currently shows 2.36 megs download speed. Tested 5 times averaging about 2 megs or greater. I believe my I have been upgraded to a 3.0 meg DSL service. This is yet just anonther improvement on Primus Internet service.

To the individual getting slow speed test results on Primus. Why don't you do another speed test and this time on the primus network. That's where you can obtain more accurate test results on your connection. OK !!!

I have a 1.5 meg dsl service, but I believe I have been upgraded to 3.0 megs.

I repeat, I have a 1.5 meg DSL service with Primus but have been upgraded to 3.0 megs as far as I'm concern. (Primus may have upgraded 1.5 meg DSL service to 3.0 megs to compete with other ISP's such as Rogers and Bell Sympatico. Wait, did I mention NO DOWNLOAD CAPS!!!
