So Trudeau is a crook?

We< need to punish the innocent.
When a rich guy breaks the law lots and lots of poor people should be held responsible.

If I commit a criminal offence, am charged, tried, convicted, and incarcerated, that would hurt my family and friends and to a lesser degree local businesses that would lose one customer. Is that a reason to just turn a blind eye to my crime?

I sympathize with the SNC workers just as I sympathize with Russell William's wife. They're all innocents.

Let me put it this way. Why should the innocent people affected by SNC Lavalin's crimes be given more consideration than the innocent people that would be affected by my crimes? Should money buy justice?

If SNC closes their doors no worries companies like AECON, PCL, Graham, etc. will pick up the slack, and if the SNC engineers are worth it they will find homes in these companies filling the void left.

Let's be clear here. There are no jobs at risk. At worst the company would get a fine in the $200 000 range. SNC simply threatened to pull their head office out of Quebec if they didn't get to skate. SNC doesnt even have that many employees. Mostly they are engineering and projects management. All the heavy lifting is done by contractors like the ones I work for. BUt then we know all you leftards are in favor of corporate welfare. Especially if it is in Quebec.

Good post ts. Good to see a little accuracy posted here. Those who sympathize with SNC and employees are part of the problem. We should all just thank our lucky stars that there is at least one honest and decent person in Ottawa and back her to the hilt.

Yeah...lets all celebrate a self-aggrandizing rat.

Why am I the only one who sees all of this through the proper lens?

Because while she is covering her own ass she is taking down Trugrope

Nothing to do with taking down the PM. Respect for the law has nothing to do with any individual personality and politics. What JWR was standing up against was precisely what you're doing now: allowing political judgments to interfere with the law.

What do you think CYA stands for? precisely what you just wrote, doing your company's/party's business while protecting yourself from lawful/policy/political repercussions.
