Snow??...We Don't need snow!

In the Okanagan farmers need snow, it protects the roots on the fruit trees
I don't like snow but I need it

Well we have lots here and the temp is going down! Trees are real "perty tho" lol!
The driving sucks though - this damn city still can't get the snow clearing down even tho' its a "winter"city. Sigh -
I suppose its likely not as easy as I want it to be. Glad I have winter tires fer sure!
Some drivers suck too - ESPECIALLY those 4x4's - think they can stop on a dime on ice! Hah! Wonder how they end up in the ditch?

Man it was cold on Vancouver Island today. In fact I had to put on a jacket. That's crazy!

What I like about this cold weather is, with the hardened ground, I can get more distance out of my driver.

Yep Dec. 29, 1996.

That was a miserable winter . Coldest winter of my life. -20C with 80% humidity was worse than -40 on the Prairie and if lasted for weeks.

+20 in winter doesn't happen where you live so dress warm and get your gumboots on.

Gumboots are all season in my hood. Today the weather has changed for the worse. High winds 80-120 this evening will make power line repair more difficult. The highway through the Cobequid Pass may be opened soon. The Canso Causeway is still closed pending removal of a blown over Semi and Trailer. Some roads are ice covered and I have to go out for milk and cookies later.

You must live in a region with long winters. Here, winters are only six and a half months long.

We have 8 months of winter and 4 months of poor skating
