Obama haters like Eagle hate the see American lives being saved. But as shown in the Commonwealth report it is being well received among those whose lives have been saved. And as shown in other links previously posted productivity is up and costs are down thanks to ACA.

And it is here to stay!

"paltry" 18 million?

A reminder that it is Republicans who have refused to expand Medicaid thereby denying coverage to millions.

Why not answer the question goph?

Honestly, this is not an unfair question and to be perfectly frank, anyone that diverts the conversation from a set of fair questions like I asked to accusations of hating Obama reeks of not really believing in the success that they claim

"paltry" 18 million?

It is 'paltry' considering that there are well in excess of 300 million people in the USA

A reminder that it is Republicans who have refused to expand Medicaid thereby denying coverage to millions.

Can't BHO execute this by Executive Order?

Wouldn't be the first time

We in Massachusetts took the money and our Health Care System is a disaster and the countries most expensive. Since Obamacare it only got worse. This state STILL can't even get the website working.

We need only look to the VA Hospitals to see what we're in for.

Also... what we middle class can expect...

So true.

What do we know. We are nothing but mean spirited racist... and we HATE women and children.
Some of you. The others, as we have seen, hate rich white men, and not-so-rich white men, coz they're EEEE-vil.

And as long as y'all continue to treat politics like a football season, nothing will change. You'll bawl and brawl about usuns and themuns, and shell out nine bucks for a beer.

Should we shut down the forum?

I already answered it when I referred to the states and their failure to expand Medicaid. We have discussed that several times on this thread.

'Paltry' in comparison to 300 million but that is not the issue. The issue was the 45 million or more who were uninsured. This figure has been lowered by 18 million and is not 'paltry'. True, I wish it was more. But that is up to the states to determine for themselves and is outside of the scope of executive authority.

Thus, your question has been answered before and now once again.

Obamacare Drives Uninsured Rate To Lowest On Record

Source: Huffington Post

The percentage of Americans without health insurance fell to a new low in recent months, according to the results of a Gallup poll released Thursday.

Specifically, the uninsured rate fell to 13.4 percent in the second quarter of 2014. That's down from its peak of 18 percent in the third quarter of last year, and it's the lowest quarterly average that Gallup has seen since it began tracking this type of data in 2008.

The percentage of uninsured Americans has fallen steadily since the beginning of Obamacare's open enrollment period for buying insurance in October. President Obama's health law mandates that nearly all Americans either have health insurance or pay a fine.

20 Million New Voters Vote Out GOP Against ObamaCare

About 20 million Americans have gained health insurance or enrolled in new insurance under the health care reform law, according to a new report.

The report from the Commonwealth Fund, published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine, credits President Barack Obama’s health reform law with an estimated 20 million enrollments as of May 1.

The report looks at both people who gained coverage through insurance marketplaces, and people who gained coverage due to provisions in the Affordable Care Act (such as those qualifying for Medicaid and those now covered through the Children’s Health Insurance Program).

Ssshhhhhh!!

That is not the point.

The point is.... Well, I'm guessing that there is a point

Had you troubled yourself to read the links you would have known that it is Republican governors and others who refuse to extend Medicaid. Why you persist in blaming Obama for that is beyond reason. But such is the mind of the delusional right.

I'm guessing that all the kick-back on not marching lock-step with ACA has to do with it not being effective.

... You were the one going on about a whole 18 MM outta 300+ MM people had enrolled... That's 1/50th of the population goph, and if memory serves, legislation dictated that everyone was supposed to have ACA a couple of years ago or face the consequences.

Fact is, 49/50th of the people have spoken pretty loud and clear on this and elected not to support it despite legal consequences..... Face it, it's a failure
