So you are homeless then?

A foreigner and a stranger here, LL:

"All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them." (Hebrews 11:13-16 NIV)

This is how we know: "But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did." (1 John 2:5-6 NIV)

This is how we know:

"This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us." (1 John 3:19-24 NIV)

funny how a topic about one thing, can become a topic about another thing.

This is how we know : )

"This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God." (1 John 4:13-15 NIV)

The Bible has been used the same as the Quran SINCE Christ came. So, Christ was not the reason. As a matter of fact, their have been countless atrocities, done in Christ's name, over the last 2 centuries.

Go back more than two centuries to the time of the Reformation and The Years War. It was unbelievably bloody and long. The area that we call "Germany" was laid as to a couple of generations a third of all Germans were killed by starvation and marauding armies. There was a massive genocide in France directed by Cardinal Richelieu. Why are there no Protestants in France?... because a million of them were put to the sword or otherwise "cleansed". At the same time, it was illegal to be a Catholic in Britain after a truly horrible civil war. What happened over the last two centuries was almost trivial compared to what happened during the previous two.

The Qur'an is not the source of chaos in the world today, LL. It is merely one tool for disseminating it. Even if the Qur'an was banned, another chaotic ideology and outlet would arise and peace would be displaced still.

RCS suggested education as the answer to the world's chaos. Many agreed. I am contributing to this education.

Motar has NEVER been able to explain things in his/her own words. All he/she has ever done was regurgitate Bible passages and be as obtuse as possible. I would bet that it makes him/her feel intelligent and all "holy". In my opinion all it shows is a lack of intelligence and a holier than thou attitude.
Kind'a like with you and Trudeau, eh?

Religions are not and have not been the only source of conflicts but they do make up the majority.

My response to people living in the supposed 'first world' is "how old were you when you stopped believing in Santa Claus?"

Yes the uneducated and uninformed areas of the world will still have their superstitions and on a larger scale forced religious beliefs that are instilled in them from the earliest age possible and these people are the problem
How about the ones keeping them from advancing? They would seem to be the tards of the world.

Maybe it's just how things are supposed to be. Maybe without the fighting you don't appreciate the times of peace as you should.

Life is a constant struggle. Without the struggle are you really living or simply existing like a rock exists ?

Difficulty create excellence. Easiness creates mediocracy.

Let me guess and it is the ones with the most goodies that decides how many get to enjoy a full life. If everyone in the world had a pair of shoes would that make you less valuable?? You hatred of others is what makes you worthless.

Or is it what makes me love even more the ones worth loving even with greater intensity then someone who has never hated?

Without the other both do not exists. And life becomes the same as a rock.

It's called circling the wagons. (when you are not under attack)

I don't seek the life of a rock like you do. I want the struggle. I want the competition. I want someone who hates me. And pushes me to be my best, pushes me to live, and be better then him or perish at the end of his sword.

Life is more intresting this way. It's how it was meant to be.

Life without a nemesis is no life at all. I need a reason every morning to best myself everyday. Without him, I'm simply a rock.
