And for things like military bases, government installations, subsidies, welfare. The libs may be able to fool the Gruber Voters but not everyone Goph.

I always tell the libs around here... cut off funds and see who screams first.

The broken record will show that it is the right wing who screams first. Three examples:

Click on search for our previous discussion about how the Tea Baggers were all up in arms about Obama's policies. Then the NOLA oil disaster took place and they all went home when he bailed them out. Ditto for Rick Perry and Chris Christie. All three cases fully documented in the past as every right winger on this forum has acknowledged.

Should Texas Secede? Texans May Have Ballot Question to “Reassert Its Status As Independent Nation”

The question of secession on a ballot it is a one. Secession might make a powerful statement to voice defiance government tyranny, but it could also set off sparks.
Now, it appears that the biggest and most independent-minded state in the union might test that question. What happens after that is anyone’s guess.
Regardless, the possibility shows the pulse of the nation:

Would this not contravene the old maxim "United we stand divided we fall"?

on the contrary, I have again proven my case and you resorted to innuendo

the same old BROKEN RECORD whenever you lose

Gopher.... This is what you brought...

That is simple buffoonery.

That reply, at least, is a little better in that this time you did not resort to any form of innuendo as you do often.

Here is your initial question to me: "What was the money for?"

I replied, " stimulus packages and the sums given to Texas" by President Obama.

Rather than risk your usual "Broken Record" postings, I challenged you to click on search so that you could readily see that this issue has been answered and settled. Then others chimed in by pointing out that the military industrial complex is heavily centered in Texas. If it secedes it forfeits all those multi-billion dollar contracts. Furthermore, without oil depletion allowances and subsidies the oil industry will go bankrupt within hours. Then Texas will have to pay its share of the federal debt. Within days, possibly minutes, it will be bankrupted. Then, like New Jersey and Louisiana it will come back crawling on hands and knees to the federal government to get bailed out as it did when it took stimulus dollars from Washington DC.

This may not be what you want to hear but in your heart you know it is the TRUTH.

He knows but he likes to pretend.

But at least to his credit he did not cry, "Broken Record". At least not yet.
