I am not usually a fan of capital punishment, mostly because there is simply too much chance to make a mistake.
But some people simply commit acts too horrendous to allow their continued presence on this earth.
A friend I was discussing this with decades ago proposed murderers go to trial with a different judge and jury for each count. On their third conviction, they are executed.
The more I think about it, the more I am convinced.
Like the majority of Canadians, I'd like to see it brought back.

According to a 2016 survey by Abacus Data, 58 per cent of Canadians want their country to join the likes of China, Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia in sanctioning state murder!

Any form of capital punishment is history now, the best anyone is going to get is to rot in jail with a good meal and fully funded health and dental benefits in a comfortable well stocked big house.

It's all gone down hill from here.

The majority of Canadians specifically would not like to see it brought back.

And once again, Hoid pulls "facts" out of his ass.

The poll suggests a majority of respondents in both countries support the death penalty, with 58 per cent of Canadians and 59 per cent of Americans labeling the practice "morally right."

So now 42% is a majority. Just like 32% is a 97% consensus. Man, you ALT-leftards really, REALLY suck at a math and numbers. No wonder Trudeau thought budgets balanced themselves.

Would taking bribes (or direction) from foreign leaders be a crime called 'treason' and would that carry a death penalty? (within 14 days of the guilty verdict)

Hey man, I simply showed Hoid that the majority of Canadians DO support the death penalty. And I'm pretty sure they were thinking about creeps like Picton and Bernardo, not Groper bowing down to the UN.

Lies. New Zealand didn't "already ban assault weapons". Jesus Christ, you'll buy f*cking anything on FB or Twitter.
Attorney-General David Parker was later quoted as saying that the government will ban semi-automatic guns, but subsequently backtracked on this statement, saying that the government had not yet committed to anything and that regulations around semi-automatic weapons was "one of the issues" the government would consider

And the only "nazi" banned from entering Australia is Milo Yiannopoulos. But it's a pretty desperate stretch to call an openly gay person a nazi.

I think that you'll find that there were a whole lot of gay Nazis in the Third Reich.

Apparently you think it isn't. And yet 58% of Canadians would like to see it brought back.
58% of Canadians agree in principle with capital punishment.

42% would actually like to see it brought back.

The trouble with white natty's is they can't read.
