Like the majority of Canadians, I'd like to see it brought back.I am not usually a fan of capital punishment, mostly because there is simply too much chance to make a mistake.
But some people simply commit acts too horrendous to allow their continued presence on this earth.
A friend I was discussing this with decades ago proposed murderers go to trial with a different judge and jury for each count. On their third conviction, they are executed.
The more I think about it, the more I am convinced.
