There have been cabbies that have refused to take somebody because it was only a $5 fare and they had been sitting 'in line' for more than an hour.

Isn't it illegal to turn away seeing eye dogs? I don't know if it is a Federal law or Provincial but I know it has come up In the past, once a restaurant and another time a bus driver refused to let seeing eye dogs in and they were forced to change their stand.

You are able to take any dog on the public bus in some places. For the 'comfort' of other passengers big dogs should be wearing a muzzle. I'm pretty sure if I became blind I would be setting the return up before I ordered the ride from my home. If I get refused there not such a big deal, if it is late at night in crack central then I just lost a nights wages after doing a robbery of a cabbie.
