I used that term the other day... 'lickity-split'... and stopped dead in my tracks as my mind raced to try to figure out if it sounded as sick out loud as it did in my head. Just like when someone said she was so thrilled she was 'tickled pink'. Now, did these ALWAYS sound so sick and wrong?

I was watching that day, and those poor women obviously had no clue that it's a term for something sexual too. Hearing them say it OVER AND OVER had me in tears I was laughing so hard.

No, it was a Canadian election, the ballots were nearly all in, and the woman said... "well, we're down to the short strokes folks". lol.
You guys reminded me of something - my boss was looking a little peaked today so I said to her "Cheer up, at least tomorrow's Hump Day".

If the defendant created all lawyers, then the assumption would be that the defendant is perfectly capable of launching his own defense.
Perhaps, but it's common wisdom in the courts that the person who defends himself is a fool.
Maybe he could launch a counter-suit against humanity instead, for not following his advice and blaming him when things go wrong.

well, what many corporations and such do, when their workforce revolts or strikes, is to simply pull up stakes and leave. I'm sure god could do the same, thus rendering the lawsuit null and void, since he would no longer be 'everywhere' as the senator has based the validity of his suit on.
