Ya, I was just reading a story about a woman who simply poured paint on a national monument being held without bond.

Seems they take it pretty serious.

I doubt they'll see ten years, but I'd imagine a hefty fine will be happening. That's my guess anyway.

Anyway, the way they were hooting and hollering, that was not about 'safety', that was just overgrown frat boy behaviour.

The vet bill for broken ribs on cattle is higher than the value of the livestock. F*cking with livestock is an indictable offense.

Destroying Federal property is more than likely a felony.
It's a rock! Rocks are moved all the time for various reasons. I don't care about a rock, especially one that large that can be pushed over by one man with ease. He may very well have saved a life down the road. This is far too much bullsh*t and another fine example of the police state mentality where a balancing rock takes precedent over a human being.

On a different note...Why would you bother to call in a vet for broken ribs on a cow? Wouldn't you just slaughter it right then? They can't put a cast on human ribs and I don't see how they could do it on a cow. Not that I condone screwing with someones property but it seems to me it is more a civil action for lost income than an actual crime.

Those rocks attract 10's of thousands of vistors every year.

You keep babbling that nonsense without any context.

Maybe you could clarify it. Not that it rings true with your belief in shooting unarmed people for amusement or for lawfully doing their duty.

I fail to see where this was manufactured or constructed by or for the US govt. It predates the US by a few thousand years.

From the looks of piggy boy scout leader he may have saved many young lives by encouraging his wards to find another troop

Yep, and apparently there are thousands more of them still to see.

This isn't a case of murder or rape or robbery. A rock got moved 15 feet. Somehow this event is a major crime. So the rock is far more important than the life of the man who could wind up with severe restrictions and negative impact for the rest of his life. It is a joke! The worst that should happen to him is a "please don't do that again", not being made a felon.

It is?

If you didn't make up so much stuff, your posts wouldn't look so stupid.

So the rock is far more important than the life of the man who could wind up with severe restrictions and negative impact for the rest of his life.
Can you back that up with some intel...

Ever read the story behind the movie 127 Hours?

To my knowledge people still visit the cavern he was trapped it in. Nobody filled it in and no one likely will.

The idea is idiotic, I can see why you would flirt with it.

It is a joke!
Oh, now I get it, you're posts are a joke.

Gotchya.

If you don't want to be charged with destroying Federal property, don't destroy Federal property. Now that the boulder is in a drainage cut, there will be even more damage and risk of injury increases.

I disagree.

"Prosecutors in Emery County will determine if charges would be filed, he said. "

Vandalism leaps to mind. It's a common charge when a national monument is vandalized.

Disagree all you want, it's not an apt comparison.

A rock fell. It's not comparable to smashing a car up. I'm not saying they shouldn't be held accountable, but, 'I have to admit, if they could do it that easily, it would have happened anyway.'
