All mover the world other taxes have been lowered. Income taxes, consumption taxes, every country has its own mix.

What about B.C, that pays compensation direct.

Jacking off the dog to feed the cat. How does it help the environment? Do people pay more from higher logistical costs? YUP!

I wish I knew a geologist in SK to confirm or deny Cabbagefartknocker's claims.

I might be able to help you with that, petros.................. I have a cousin who is a geologist, lives in Regina and I do believe he works in the oil and gas fields back there. If you are interested, I can PM you with his name and number.

Lets start with "the leak". Explain the Kerrs....are they like those people near Dedreer who are broke after three days and living on credit cards?

The Kerrs are a couple who started the leak claim. Something about the Kerrs though...they are the only farm WITHOUT any producing wells in their RM because when it came to negotiate fees and right of way they were too greedy and oil companys said "fine...we'll go to your neighbour". Now they don't have the cheques flowing and decided to cry wolf, gain sympathy and get money.

Two years and millions of $ were wasted looking for a leak that never did exist.

I thought you knew everything?

Exactly. Wells are spaced to tap the pool evenly but in this instance flow rates will be staggered from pump to pump. No biggie for the oil companies.

PS..the oil that was spilled will still end up in someone's fuel tank one day.
