Republicans do some soul-searching after Romney loss

I think they need to do more than that. The American people are now realizing whay happened in 2007-08 wasn't a collapse of our economy. It was a precision engineered event and many Republicans and their very wealthy supporters were the architects of this tragic swindle. It was so smooth that even the return of Paulson to Goldman Sachs (a firm he retired from to "Serve his Nation") went back to work there and received a $20 million dollar bonus using the funds the Democrats were duped into allowing to occur. It may be a century before the monied part of the Republicans will ever gain a primary public office again. They simply are not trusted by the majority of the US citizens. Most in California were defeated in the last election.

What's the difference between the white invaders of the 19th century and the mexican invaders of the 21st century from the perspective of people seeing their way of life destroyed?

The 19th century invaders used ethnic cleansing as a weapon.

The 21st century Mexican invaders are for the most part fairly peaceful and settling in areas which were a part of Mexico til the 19th century invaders took it by force for no reason.
