Is the U.S. system better than ours? They got to vote for Prez and hate him anyway!
If that were true he wouldnt have been able to win. A lot of voters may regret their decision to vote for him but thats their own problem. They made their bed. If you take into account people who voted for Romney, other candidates or didnt vote at all you would probably see that more people didnt vote for him than did. Which isnt much different from here in a way. 38% can get you a majority here which is a bit odd. Both systems have their problems.
The ones that didn't vote for him hated him long before the vote. One of the unfortunate problems with a two party system is that there is not enough candidates to spread the hate around. With our multi party politics everyone can find a politician to hate.
They have plenty of other parties that just dont have the resources to truly compete. I dont get why. If I were an American I dont think I could ever vote for the Democrats or Republicans. Given the mess the both of them have made over and over again I dont know why anyone does vote for them rather than looking around for something better. Maybe there isnt anything much better but taking a chance on a third party of some sort couldnt hurt.
