Trudeau’s unhidden agenda
He doesn’t believe in a ‘Canadian’ identity

The federal Liberals always used to talk about Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s “hidden agenda” to remake Canada in his image.
So today, let’s discuss Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s open agenda to remake Canada in his.
The first hint came when Trudeau told The New York Times Magazine in December, 2015, that, “there is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada,” which makes us “the first postnational state.”
Trudeau did add that Canadians have “shared values” such as “openness, respect, compassion, willingness to work hard, to be there for each other, to search for equality and justice.”
But in Trudeau’s “postnational” Canada, none of these “shared values” are important enough, apparently, for us to screen potential immigrants and refugees for, to see if they share them as well.
Remember the Liberal (and Red Tory) hysteria when Conservative leadership candidate Kellie Leitch suggested we do that?
Once you understand this about Trudeau, everything he says and does with regard to his concept of Canada becomes understandable.
For example when, in 2011, as a Liberal MP, Trudeau attacked the Conservative government for including in its Discover Canada guide for immigrants that, “Canada’s openness and generosity do not extend to barbaric cultural practices that tolerate spousal abuse, ‘honour killings’, female genital mutilation, forced marriage or other gender-based violence.”
Trudeau berated the Conservatives for using the term “barbaric” saying it fell short of “responsible neutrality.”
Taken aback by the outrage his criticism provoked across Canada, Trudeau quickly backtracked and apologized.
Except, now we learn, through The Canadian Press, that with Trudeau as PM, a draft version of the reworked Discover Canada guide which the Liberals haven’t released yet, reportedly removes any reference to “barbaric cultural practices.”
Trudeau has also overturned legislation passed by Harper stripping Canadian citizenship from dual citizens convicted of terrorism, treason or espionage.
As Trudeau explained during the 2015 election, “the Liberal Party believes that terrorists should get to keep their Canadian citizenship...Because I do. And I’m willing to take on anyone who disagrees with that.”
Well, of course. Because if your mindset is, as Trudeau says, that “a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian” even if, as a dual citizen, they commit treason or kill our soldiers, then naturally you believe they should keep their citizenship in a “postnational” Canada.
This also explains Trudeau’s July 1 Canada Day message on our 150th anniversary, that he’s “jealous” of immigrants who choose to come to Canada because they care more about it than natural-born Canadians who are, “Canadian by default.”
Again, of course – because in Trudeau’s “postnational” Canada, it’s BETTER to come from somewhere else.
Similarly, a PM who believes in a “postnational” Canada with “no core identity, no mainstream” isn’t going to be overly concerned about would-be refugees flooding across our border from the U.S. at such an alarming rate, that we have to house them in Montreal’s Olympic Stadium.
Nor prone to contest a lawsuit by a Canadian citizen suing us for $20 million (Trudeau agreed to give Omar Khadr $10.5-million and an apology) even though Khadr was radicalized not by us, but by his family, and imprisoned not by us, but by the U.S., after a firefight with American troops in Afghanistan.
Because in Trudeau’s “postnational” Canada, that’s not on his agenda.

This flood of asylum seeker will continue, the Libs are totally useless in dealing with this crises

NO- Justin is totally useless in dealing with this crisis! He's already made it clear he wants to welcome everyone. I totally agree with him BUT it should be AFTER he has brought the living standards of our indigenous people up to snuff.

Worried that the door of freedom is closing under Trump, Haitians are fleeing to Canada

Haitians flee to Canada with fear Trump will end special status | McClatchy Washington Bureau

One has to ask: will all these "refugees " want to return to the U.S. when Trump is out of office??

There's likely a good chance that by the time Trump is out of office, many of them will be dead!

People have bee spouting that weak argument for decades. If we followed it Canada's population would be millions less than what it is and would be in population crash mode and we'd be lacking hundreds of thousands of young professionals who have proven that all you need to succeed is a decent opportunity.

Man charged with spraying manure on U.S. border patrol car

MONTPELIER, Vt. — A man who says his livelihood in agriculture has been nearly ruined by people who entered the country illegally to work on local farms is facing charges he sprayed liquid manure on a marked U.S. Customs and Border Protection car after confronting an agent about immigration enforcement.
Mark Johnson is due in court Thursday in North Hero to answer charges of assault and disorderly conduct from the Aug. 3 spraying at the edge of a farm field about 2 miles (3 kilometres) south of the Canadian border.
Johnson, who does custom manure spreading, said he didn’t know the border patrol agent was behind him when he turned on his spreader. But the spraying came after he asked the agent in the car why authorities weren’t doing more to arrest immigrants who are in the country illegally and are working on Vermont farms.
Johnson, who’s from Alburgh, said the agent was rude.
He said Wednesday he felt immigrant farm workers had hurt his business.
“I used to go to all these farms, spread liquid manure and help them with chopping and everything else,” said Johnson, who’s 53 years old. “Then the illegals started coming in, more and more and more, and every time I see the border patrol I stop and ask them, ‘Can you please do something about it?”’
He said he’s told by the agents they can’t do anything about it.
Many Vermont farms rely on immigrant workers, some of whom are believed to be in the country illegally.
Customs and Border Protection spokeswoman Stephanie Malin said in an email the manure case is being handled by Vermont authorities. She said the border patrol focuses on the international border.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the primary agency responsible for enforcing immigration laws inside the United States.
Johnson said he’d seen a number of border patrol agents parked at different times near where he was spreading manure on Aug. 3. He said he spoke with one of them about his frustrations but thought the agent had left when he turned on the spreader.
He said he didn’t realize what had happened until the sheriff’s department arrived an hour or so later to cite him.
He said he would represent himself in court on Thursday.
The liquid manure spraying incident was first reported by the weekly newspaper The Islander.

You have to keep the refugees together, as a group, for later processing. Having them spread out is counterproductive, expensive and trouble results.

If a refugee feels his chance of getting refugees status is slim, he knows his best bet is to move around and go to other provinces. This way his Hearing time is delayed and he gets a chance to have a baby in Canada (anchor baby), then he can claim compassionate refugee status.

Are you suggesting all refugees will turn to prostitution?

Now to be clear, if it's a legitimate refugee, though I would not want to send that person back, I still think there ought to be laws against selling sex. Actually no. Since selling sex is so difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, I would even support making fornication itself a fine-able offense with the fine doubling for each repetition of the offense. Make the first offence over 1000.00 fine and if the person is not a legitimate refugee and can't pay the fine, then yes, send them back.

We should not tolerate prostitution in Canada. By the way, I'd apply such fines to Canadian nationals themselves.
