Trudeau thought bringing in migrants would solve issues. And it sort of did; Lazy ass Canadians who didn't want to work "low wage jobs" are now being worked by migrants who want to work any job.

But now you have problems; housing, health care and a call from some circles saying there are "too many migrants" (which is only partly true as it dove tails into the other two issues).

So the Feds and Provinces did nothing to help fix Housing and Health Care which led to a strain on both problems that were already a thing beforehand.

Hence why now they're pausing all new immigration for IIRC 3 years.

But that STILL won't fix anything. The base problem of housing and health care will still be an issue.

And you know that the Fed Cons won't do SFA to help either.

Meanwhile, our senior population pulls more on the "System", there aren't enough "new" persons to step into jobs that need people, and short of those who can have babies being forced to pop em out, we'll continue on this decline, again, that immigration was the "solve all" to fix (which I personally don't think it was, just to clarify. It HELPED but of course the Feds and Provinces fucked it all up)

Go off your meds and read that again in a month.

BTW youre confusing TFWs with migrants and immigrants with TFWs and migrants. 2 of those 3 will stick around to be lazy Canadians be willingly forced to have children. They will prosper as imm-cis familes raising cis kids.

Look whatl those damn S. American immigrant and migrant Catholics flooding the US and voting Trump are doing to the black baby death machine. There will be cis black kids everywhere making more cis black kids and Latinos making even more Latino cis babies.

Murder of Georgia co-ed put spotlight on crime, illegal immigration

Laken Riley, who was allegedly killed by an illegal immigrant while out for a run on the University of Georgia campus on Feb. 22, 2024.
Jose Ibarra unwittingly became the poster boy for the ills of illegal immigration and escalating violent crime.

The 26-year-old illegal immigrant — a reputed member of the now notorious Tren de Aragua street gang — became the embodiment of everything that was going wrong in America.

And the Democrats paid the price at the polls: Denying violent crime and illegal immigration are grave problems turned out to be a losing strategy. Woke ideology displaced common sense.

On Friday, Ibarra went on trial in the vicious murder of 22-year-old University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley in the early morning hours of Feb. 22. Riley had gone out for a run around a lake on the university campus.

She had no idea that soon she would be fighting for her life and drawing her final breaths.

“On Feb. 22, Jose Ibarra put on a black hat, a hoodie-style jacket, and some black kitchen-style disposable gloves, and he went hunting for females on the University of Georgia campus,” prosecutor Sheila Ross said in her opening statement.

The first woman he saw was Riley, whom he attacked.

“When Laken Riley refused to be his rape victim, he bashed her head in with a rock repeatedly,” Ross added.

Cops would call the shocking slaying a “crime of opportunity.” It could have been Riley, it could have been any one of a dozen other young women.

Ibarra has opted for a judge-alone trial. On Friday, with his wrists shackled, the Venezuelan wore a blue plaid shirt, grey dress pants and an impassive facial expression.

Ibarra is charged with malice murder, felony murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault with intent to rape, and other charges, including being a “peeping Tom.” He has pleaded not guilty.

The accused killer’s lawyer offered that prosecutors would not be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt his client murdered Riley.

Among the evidence presented on Friday was her harrowing 911 call. Mostly the call was silent except for chirping birds and a pitiful whimpering sound at the end.

Ibarra was arrested the day after cops found Riley’s half-naked battered body. Cops later admitted the arrest was a combination of good police work — and luck.

Inside a dumpster near the apartment where Ibarra lived with his two brothers (also illegal immigrants), cops discovered a dark sweatshirt with hair and blood on it. CCTV captured Ibarra dumping the garment.

Forensic testing revealed Ibarra and Riley’s DNA on the sweatshirt. His DNA was also found underneath her fingernails.

Normally, this would simply be a murder trial — more horrible than most, granted — but because of the slaying’s role in the U.S. presidential race, and electoral contests in other crime-ravaged locales, the tragic slaying of Laken Riley took on greater meaning.

Ibarrra slipped over the border at El Paso, Texas in September 2022. He was released into the country on parole and racked up charges in New York for “acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.”

His brother Diego is a gangbanger with Tren de Aragua and has been busted for green card fraud.

The American people correctly believed that illegal immigration and crime were out of control.

Team Democrat and its supplicants told them otherwise, even as the bodies and outrages piled up.

Another North American political leader is also pooh-poohing illegal immigration, crime, lax bail, soft sentences and thugs rampaging in the streets.

At this point, it seems blowing off warnings from cops, prosecutors and the public will come with a heavy political price in this country.

Canada’s public safety minister says he’s confident in the work of agencies tasked with detaining and removing people in the country illegally and preventing security threats crossing into the U.S., but will boost enforcement resources “if necessary.”

Dominic LeBlanc says that work by the RCMP and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) should prove to the incoming Donald Trump administration — whose newly appointed “border czar” has called the Canada-U.S. border a “huge national security issue” — that Ottawa shares their concerns about border security.
1731871290424.jpegThe government has been pressed by opposition parties and provinces on its plan to add additional resources at the U.S.-Canada border in anticipation of a potential increase in people seeking to enter Canada from the U.S., where Trump has vowed mass deportations and crackdowns on asylum claims.
1731871553415.jpegLeBlanc said the government is ready to provide whatever is needed, but noted all agencies have been preparing for a future Trump administration for some time (?).

CBSA figures tabled in Parliament early this year suggest most people who received deportation letters in the last eight years remain in Canada, which the Conservative Party says suggests a lack of enforcement.

The Customs and Immigration Union told Global News in an emailed statement that staffing shortages at CBSA have been “a long-standing issue,” and estimates the agency would need an additional 2,000 to 3,000 officers just to meet its current operational needs.

Illegal immigrant busted in town’s first ‘stranger rape’ in 12 years
Author of the article:Denette Wilford
Published Nov 25, 2024 • Last updated 1 day ago • 2 minute read

An illegal from Honduras has been accused of raping a woman in Virginia — mere days after he was released from jail on another sex crime charge.

Denis Humberto Navarette Romero, 31, was charged with raping a woman on a hiking trail in Herndon, Va., just outside Washington, D.C., on Nov. 18.

It was the first sexual assault of its kind there in more than a decade, authorities said.

“This is the only stranger rape that we have had in the town in my more than 12 years as chief of police,” Herndon Police Chief Maggie DeBoard said in a press conference.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin slammed officials for releasing Romero back into the community instead of turning him over to authorities for deportaton.

“I am heartsick for this victim and outraged that local Fairfax County officials recklessly release violent illegal immigrants who should have been prosecuted and deported,” Youngkin told the New York Post.

“This is a dereliction of their most basic duty to keep people safe,” he continued. “Prioritizing violent illegal immigrants over the safety of Fairfax residents is unacceptable.”

According to cops, Romero has a lengthy rap sheet that dates back years.

He was released from jail four days before his arrest after serving just half of his 50-day sentence for indecent exposure due to “good behaviour,” according to authorities, the Post reported.

The victim said she was on the busy walking trail when Romero allegedly grabbed her arm, forced her to the ground and raped her just before 9 p.m.

A bystander called police who arrived at the scene where Romero was quickly arrested.

“What is disturbing is the number of times this individual has been arrested and released,” the police chief told reporters.

“He has continued to reoffend and his behaviour has escalated to a rape in a very public area.”

Romero’s first reported crime was in 2018 when he fondled a 14-year-old girl.

An investigation was launched and Fairfax County investigators learned he had also exposed himself to a 10-year-old and 13-year-old in 2017, according to police records obtained by the Washington Post.

However, Romero wasn’t arrested until 2022 when he choked a Herndon officer who was called to the scene of a local restaurant where the illegal smacked a woman’s buttocks.

He was charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer, but the charge was downgraded to a misdemeanor assault by Fairfax County Commonwealth prosecutors in exchange for a guilty plea.

The Fairfax County Sheriff’s office says it notifies ICE every time they arrest an undocumented individual, but the department’s lawyer told the Washington Post that the agency never received a warrant or detainer in the four times Romero was in their custody.

Romero is currently in jail as he awaits a preliminary hearing on charges of intent to defile and rape.
