Billionaires have been told a conspiracy by the Kochs or someone to keep them scared and following the right wing program. They are expecting a dystopia. They need an escape hatch in case of climate change or outbreak or if the base finally get wise. If they just believed in mitigating climate change or in girl child education the world over or or sharing knowledge rather than coveting it and hoarding it to get more money they would not be so worried. I believe human ingenuity can overcome all these things (outbreak will be beaten back by Africans as they have more genetic diversity than the rest of the world and are our greatest hope for survival). Shhh. Don't tell the billionaires of the right wing that their will be financial meltdown if there is a dystopia and their money won't mean anything anymore. The billionaires are currently trying to figure out how to keep their personal security teams in place during the dystopia and not go back to help their own families and leave the billionaires on their own to cope. Guess what the billionaire right wing are not talking about saving? You. But liberals are.
Do you actually believe that ? Really ?

'GROSS BETRAYAL': U.K. terror suspect had been given asylum

London terror suspect Salih Khater was granted asylum in the U.K. THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
The man accused of trying to run down pedestrians and cyclists outside the British parliament had been granted asylum after fleeing the violent Libyan regime.
The U.K. Sun reports that terror suspect Salih Khater — who loves Aston Villa and Celine Dion — is originally from Sudan and entered the U.K. illegally.
He worked as a farmhand for two years in the north African country before leaving in the days ahead of Libya collapsing in violent chaos.
Khater, 29, was later granted asylum in the U.K.

Cops say he remains in custody on suspicion of terror-related offences after investigators were given more time to question him and try to discover his motives. He is not co-operating.
“There is a growing view now that this may be less a carefully planned terrorist plot and more an act of extreme violence, sparked by anger and carried out in an extremely symbolic location,” one law enforcement source told the U.K. Sun.
“Regardless, anyone who sets out to hurt people deliberately in the same country that has welcomed them in — that represents a gross betrayal.”
According to authorities, Khater allegedly crashed a Ford Fiesta into anti-terror barriers outside parliament on Tuesday morning, injuring three people. Their injuries were not life-threatening.

Investigators have since raided homes in Birmingham — where he lived — and in Nottingham.
British reports suggest the incident in London is at odds with the young man’s past.
On his now disabled Facebook page, his favourite quote was listed as: “Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.”

One of his friends, Osman Tergo, didn’t see any signs of extremism in Kater.
“I knew him very well, but haven’t *spoken to him in a while,” Tergo said. “I couldn’t see any problems with him. He has never been mixed up in anything like this — it must have been an accident.”
Another added: “I’m still in shock. I’ve known him for about a year and he is a very, very good man. He was polite, humble and he kept himself to himself.”

You should really fact check (some of) your Islamophobic posts as it makes you (and your kind) look like the assholes in the world really.

"after fleeing the violent Libyan regime." Libya had a better standard of living that most people in the Western Nation have so to post something that says the opposite makes it pretty clear who is the entity on the globe that should be 'removed'.
It appears he became radical after moving to the UK unless being a farm hand tends to make people go bonkers and that is not a fact. Living in the UK sure brings out the worst in people. Perhaps Jihadi Johnny was an aquaintance.

So he was living in Libya and the UK (and others) come in and completely fuk it over and make sure it doesn't recover so the kid has to flee and the only place to go is to the nation that wrecked his homeland. Then he gets the blame for snapping.
The more civilized the 'West" get the more they ()we) look like the biggest turds the world has ever produced.

Should I start checking your articles for accuracy as you seem to be unable to do it on your own. You do make a lovely parrot though, just don't try flying unless it is from a really high place.

Mexican immigrant, in U.S. illegally, charged with murdering Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts
Associated Press

MONTEZUMA, Iowa — A man from Mexico living in the U.S. illegally has confessed to kidnapping college student Mollie Tibbetts while she was running in her small Iowa hometown, killing her and dumping her body in a cornfield, authorities said Tuesday.
Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of the 20-year-old Tibbetts, whose July 18 disappearance set off a massive search involving state and federal authorities.
Rivera led investigators early Tuesday to a body believed to be Tibbetts in a cornfield about 12 miles (19 kilometres) southeast of Brooklyn, Iowa, where Tibbetts was last seen running, Division of Criminal Investigation special agent Rick Rahn said.

“I can’t speak about the motive. I can just tell you that it seemed that he followed her, seemed to be drawn to her on that particular day, for whatever reason he chose to abduct her,” Rahn told reporters at a news conference outside the sheriff’s office in Montezuma, where Rivera was being held on $1 million cash-only bond.
The news that the highly publicized and gruesome crime was allegedly committed by a person in the country illegally drew immediate outrage. President Donald Trump noted the arrest and called for immigration law changes at a rally in West Virginia.
“You heard about today with the illegal alien coming in, very sadly, from Mexico and you saw what happened to that incredible, beautiful young woman,” Trump told the crowd in Charleston. “Should’ve never happened. Illegally in our country. We’ve had a huge impact, but the laws are so bad. The immigration laws are such a disgrace, we’re getting them changed, but we have to get more Republicans. We have to get ’em.”
Iowa’s two GOP U.S. senators also described Tibbetts’ death as a tragedy “that could have been prevented,” and Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said residents were heartbroken and angry.
“We are angry that a broken immigration system allowed a predator like this to live in our community, and we will do all we can to bring justice to Mollie’s killer,” Reynolds, a Republican, said in a statement.

Trump has made further crackdown on illegal immigration a core policy of his administration. He often has claimed widespread crime by people living in the country illegally, citing among other things the indictments of 11 suspected MS-13 gang members from El Salvador charged in connection with the slayings of two Virginia teens. Trump also has held events at the White House with members of “angel families,” whose relatives were killed by immigrants.
Although Trump claims legal U.S. residents are less likely to commit crime, several studies from social scientists and the libertarian think-tank Cato Institute find that isn’t accurate and states with a higher share of people living in the country illegally have lower violent crime rates.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said that it lodged a federal immigration detainer for Rivera after he was arrested on the murder charge. That move means the agency has probable cause to believe he is subject to deportation.
Investigators said they believed Rivera had lived in the area from four to seven years, and Rahn described Rivera as someone who lived in a rural area and kept to himself.
Yarrabee Farms, a family-owned company that operates dairy farms in the rolling hills outside Brooklyn, said that Rivera had been an employee in good standing for four years and that it was shocked to learn he was implicated in the crime.
The company is owned by the family of Craig Lang, a prominent Republican who previously served as president of the Iowa Farm Bureau.
A search of court records revealed no prior criminal history for Rivera in Iowa, and it’s unclear whether he had ever been subject to prior deportation proceedings.
Rivera’s Facebook page described him as being from Guayabillo, a community of less than 500 people in the state of Guerrero. It’s about a three-hour drive from the resort city of Acapulco.
For five long weeks, searchers tried to find Mollie Tibbetts. That search ended in tears Tuesday. THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Investigators said they zeroed in on Rivera after obtaining footage from surveillance cameras in Brooklyn. The footage showed a Chevy Malibu connected to Rivera that was driving back and forth as Tibbetts was running in the area, Rahn said.
An affidavit attached to the criminal complaint against Rivera alleged that he admitted to investigators he got out of his car and started running alongside Tibbetts.
Tibbetts grabbed her phone and said she was going to call the police. The affidavit says Rivera panicked and then said he blacked out. Rivera next remembers seeing her earphones on his lap, and taking her bloody body out of the trunk of his car, it said.
“The defendant further described during the interview that he dragged Tibbetts on foot from his vehicle to a secluded location in a cornfield,” the affidavit said.
Investigators said they had earlier searched the area for Tibbetts but didn’t find her, noting the body was covered by corn stalks when recovered early Tuesday.
Rahn said that Rivera was co-operating with investigators and speaking with the help of a translator. He said an autopsy would be performed on the body Wednesday by the state medical examiner’s office, which would assist investigators in understanding whether Tibbetts had been assaulted or tried to fight him off.
Rivera’s initial court appearance is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday in Montezuma.
A conviction on first-degree murder carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole in Iowa, which doesn’t have the death penalty.
On Tuesday night, deputies were guarding a trailer where the suspect had lived on a gravel road outside Brooklyn near a dairy farm.
Tibbetts’ disappearance set off a massive search involving dozens of officers from the FBI, as well as state and local agencies. They focused much of their efforts in and around Brooklyn, searching farm fields, ponds and homes. Investigators asked anyone who was around five locations, including a car wash, a truck stop and a farm south of town, to report if they saw anything suspicious on July 18.
Last week, Vice-President Mike Pence met privately with the Tibbetts family during a visit to Iowa and told them that “you’re on the hearts of every American.”
At Brooklyn City Hall, city clerk Sheri Sharer said Tuesday was a sad day for the town.
“It never crossed our mind that she wouldn’t come home safe,” she said.
The University of Iowa mourned the loss of Tibbetts, a psychology major who would have started her junior year this week.
“We are deeply saddened that we’ve lost a member of the University of Iowa community,” said university official Melissa Shivers, who urged students to seek counselling and other support services as needed.
Rahn said he met with the parents and other relatives of Tibbetts to inform them of the arrest Tuesday. He told them that the investigation revealed that they had “raised a great daughter.”
“We got to know Mollie,” he said. “She was a phenomenal individual.”

LEVY: 'Irregular' migrants continue to flock into Toronto

October 2, 2018 8:55 PM EDT

Ottawa, we have a problem..
It’s not just that Toronto’s shelters are full — with 2,600 or 39.2% of the spaces occupied by refugees, er asylum seekers, irregular migrants (whatever we’re calling them today.)
But according to city spokesman Natasha Hinds Fitzsimmins Tuesday, some 18-20 are arriving in the city per day, mostly from Nigeria.
According to Hinds Fitzsimmins, the federal government procured two hotels in Peel and York to house the irregular (a.k.a. illegal) migrants who were placed in the Centennial and Humber college dorms earlier in the summer.
As reported by Canadian Press, the federal government has extended their hotel stay four weeks beyond the original deadline of Sept. 30 because they have yet to come up with a more long-term approach that would send the refugees to communities beyond Toronto.
There are also 1,719 irregular (illegal) migrants/refugees/asylum seekers in Toronto hotels, including 577 housed at the Radisson Toronto East hotel in 146 rooms (the hotel has 240 rooms in total).
The reputable Tripadvisor website has been inundated in the past few weeks with scathing reviews of the hotel, calling it a “zoo, filthy, noisy and dangerous” with the lobby full of loitering refugees and halls containing graffiti and garbage.
Every paying visitor on Trip Advisor has claimed they did not know and were not told that 61% of the hotel is being occupied by refugees.
On Tuesday, one visitor from Virginia —calling the three-star hotel a “disgrace” —claimed that animal services needed to be called on the second night he was there because “some goats were being slaughtered” in the public bathrooms.
The visitor said gunfire was also heard outside the hotel that same night.
(Believe me I can’t make this stuff up!)
(Tripadvisor)
Asked what the city has spent to date housing irregular migrants/refugees/asylum seekers, Hinds Fitzsimmins said the costs from November 2017 to the end of this year will likely be “in excess” of $64.5-million.
She said the city doesn’t know how much more at this time, although I would bet that number is being kept quiet until after the Oct. 22 election—especially considering Toronto council and the mayor helped exacerbate the problem by very publicly reaffirming (to all who would listen) in early 2017 that Toronto is a Sanctuary City.
Up to now the city has only received $11-million from the feds to help defray the costs.

I thought it would have slowed down. It looks like the Canadian authorities were correct, this is the new norm.

‘I’m going to die here’: Wives of ISIS fighters want to return home to Canada

Canada also lacks the resources to put returnees under constant surveillance and does not have sufficient rehabilitation programs for them, he said. The Liberal government may also fear the political fallout of repatriating Canadians who were involved in ISIS.
The Toronto woman broke down as she appealed for help. She said the medical care at the camp was not good and the dust aggravated her asthma. She had been losing weight, she said.
“I’m really sick. My son, he has infection in his lungs.” She pointed to her daughter. “This one, she has asthma and the other one too. So, like, we’re getting more sick, you know.”
“I didn’t do anything,” she said. “I can’t take it anymore.”
“It’s not fair. We come from one of the best countries in the world and we’re suffering. Why?
“I’m so tired of this.”
