I guess you are for the woman's right to choose?

Of course, she has the right to choose right up to the point where she has sex and gets pregnant. After she is pregnant, it's too late. The choice was made already. Now she has the choice of keeping or giving up. Killing the baby is not an option as far as I am concerned.

So are they saying, in university there is a culture among boys, to peer pressuring each other to have sex?

Mix in raging hormones, late night parties, alcohol, drugs and bad choices.

Well.
Other then informing the young people of the Dangers of participating in those activities,
I don't see what campus can do to help stop this. The information would probably fall on deaf ears anyways.

When a person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs their defences are down as well as their communication skills dressing modestly would take away the temptation
So do you give drunk adults a free pass on having an affair? You know, I was really drunk and fell over and my d*ck just went in. Not my fault.

It is the guys full responsibility.

Except if she rapes him. That does happen you know.

Both sides have a right to say no at any time.

Yes. Teach boys, that no means no.

And teach the damn girls, that some men, just don't take no for an answer.

Other then that, I don't see what campus can do more.

I made no excuses. I said campus should inform students.

No. There can only be one rapist and one victim. There is no such thing as both being at fault in a rape. You might as well say both are at fault in a shooting murder. You are being stupid.

No, he's being a troll, plain and simple.

Bring in a modesty dress code for both sexes then rape stats will go down on campus

Because that is working so well in the middle east...

Dressing in clothes that is not modest is tempting a person to go further then that person would have gone especially if that person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Wow, you really are starting to sound like the Taliban. These are the exact reasons they cite for banning alcohol, music and forcing women into clothes that look more like tents.

I dont care if the woman is walking around the campus quad naked - that is no excuse for any guy to lay a hand on her much less rape her. That is 100% on him. Next time a robbery happens do you want to blame the cashier for leaving the cash register open a few seconds too long thereby tempting a customer into stealing it? Thats not how it works.

Does a song translate into real life events? Probably in a ratio of 1/50 or 1/500. How many horror stories are there on library shelves? Probably several or more for every real life horror story. But really I don't think one ditty sung on a bus translates to a real life epidemic. Some people have wild imaginations.

I was offered a job a few days ago,
but it has come to my attention that the folks offering this job,
are likely criminals. I turned down the offer.

If I would have accepted the job offer, And they ended up scamming me.
Sure, I agree, it's not my fault for being tricked, as they are the ones tricking me,
And I am the victim of the trickery.

I'm still guilty of being a innocent fool, that could have said no, with the information
I was given.

Inform the girls there are risks.
Inform boys it's not acceptable.

It's the same for being offered to go to the local drug dealers house by someone
You have only known for a few weeks, there could possibly be prostitution happening
In this drug house, as both drugs and prostitution run together.

Refusing to take drugs altogether could save you from a bad situation.

I am saying both people are at fault and the rape could have been avoided if both people were modestly dressed
Well, that would explain the rape in the military. Nothing sexier, racier, and more provocative than combat fatigues.

Would you look at these sl uts? They're just ASKING for it! Filthy hoors! They deserve what they get for dressing like that!
