No. It's comparing Bush's intelligence to a primate's, not his humanity.

duh.

Calling Obama an ape in heels is comparing her looks...not her humanity. I know that would be a hard concept for you to understand but it does highlight the one-sided view of a liberal SJW wingnut.

If you think it's "the truth" that an entire group of people "don't work," you're stupid.

I was referring to an individual, not a group. If you call a whole group lazy it is stereotyping. Sometimes it is fairly correct because the majority does fall into that description but still stereotyping. In this case that isn't what I was doing.

And now you're lying.

OK, dismissed, junior.

Nicky, little boy, you don't know me, nor I you. Since you have no idea how often I have to confront anti-male rhetoric and explain why that's just reverse misogyny, or how many men I've advocated for during horrendous custody battles - where women behave as poorly as men - or worse - you might have a small inkling of how wrong you are. I'm ok with that, you just stay put and spew that filth, you're just fine right where you are...

I can agree with this. How about a new approach though?

How about stepping up, or finding someone you can support that DOES embody the changes you want to see - for real?
Ummm...I voted Libertarian in the last election.I'm a card-carrying member of the party. I campaigned for him and the party. I attended their convention in Calgary. 1100 votes in a constituency of 40,000. I knew he wouldn't win but it was who would best represent me and my views. Get over yourself, you have no idea.

I haven't been alive as long as that word has been used to denigrate people of colour...

No doubt, you are the epitome of a childish SJW.

lol - your support? Awesome. Take care dude. I need to get to higher ground.... and I don't care if anyone likes Niemoller or not - the quote was to make a point - once you're the last 'man' standing, who's next? With the prevailing mentality, sooner or later, you'll be next on the other end of it.

Even more ironic... I would be the loudest one defending your right to exist and be valued. Even while telling you to f**k off.

Happy trails. Hope you find someplace that suits you better. Couldn't be all that hard.

And your Niemoller quite was quite apt. I just despise Niemoller, the man who enthusiastically supported evil, then wept when he became the target. F*ck him.

It was women voting for Trump that got him the Presidency. It's no mystery. Apparently they don't feel the same way you do about him.

BTW it wasn't men who called her "an ape in heels" to begin with. It was other women.

Maybe you need to be asking other women why they are so judgmental of other women?

maybe all should focus on the posts on this thread that were racist and ugly toward a great
woman, instead of trying to distract away from those posts, just own it everyone, would make
you all at least trying to be aware of the ignorance that was posted here, and not trying so
hard to throw it out there for 'others' to be responsible, everyone who says these types of
things should step back and realize what they are doing.

What makes her great T? Did she find a cure for cancer? Did she end global poverty? Did she feed millions of starving children? All she did was party and buy stuff with taxpayer money because hubby got elected POTUS. She was a First Lady who did nothing to change anything, not Mother Teresa.

Women raised under the protection of white male privilege (you can bash/assault/rape/restrict/mock/catcall any woman except one of mine) have no f*cking clue what they're talking about, or what they're wishing upon their sisters.
look deeper if we're not willing to?

Talloola! I am surprised to see you still roaming about this place - wonderful to 'see' you, I hope you are well! xo

I am surprised as well that I am still here, but unlike a few other women, who ran scared away from this board, I'm not inclined to do that, much of the bullying
that happened to me long ago, has stopped, I'm mostly ignored these days, but my
curiosity keeps me coming in to read what others think, it is truly amazing
the thoughts that come onto these threads, I don't reply much at all, occasionally,
but I do smile, I do wonder about humanity, as I read along, and I definitely am
way too logical to fit in here, but 'again' my curiosity, one can learn from many
sources, not quality learning, but learning about how people think, it is truly
amazing, and I do realize more than ever why this world will never really get
along nicely with each other.
thank you for your kind thoughts, and thank you for your posts on this thread, they were badly needed and warmly welcomed by me, lots of feathers ruffled, that's good.

Sh*t is about to get real.

Racist post about Michelle Obama causes backlash

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The director of a West Virginia development group and a mayor are under scrutiny after a racist post about first lady Michelle Obama caused a backlash and prompted calls on social media for both women to be fired.

Clay County Development Corp. director Pamela Ramsey Taylor made the post following Donald Trump's election as president, saying: "It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I'm tired of seeing a Ape in heels."

Clay Mayor Beverly Whaling responded: "Just made my day Pam."

The post, first reported by WSAZ-TV, was shared hundreds of times on social media before it was deleted.

The Facebook pages of Taylor and Whaling couldn't be found Monday. A call to the Clay County Development Corp. went unanswered and Whaling didn't immediately return a telephone message.

An online petition seeks to remove Whaling and Taylor. The non-profit development group provides services to elderly and low-income residents in Clay County. It is funded through state and federal grants and local fees.

It is not affiliated with the town of Clay, which is about 50 miles east of Charleston.

African-Americans make up about 4 per cent of West Virginia's 1.8 million residents, according to the U.S. Census.

About 77 per cent of Clay County residents supported Trump in the Nov. 8 election. In 2012, President Barack Obama received 31 per cent of the county vote when Republican Mitt Romney easily carried the state.

A message left for the West Virginia chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People wasn't immediately returned.

The town council has a previously scheduled meeting Tuesday.

Last week in Kentucky, Republican Dan Johnson defeated incumbent Democrat Linda Belcher in Bullitt County despite a series of Facebook posts that depicted Barack Obama and his wife as monkeys. Republican officials, including likely new House Speaker Jeff Hoover, had called on Johnson to drop out of the race. But Hoover declared last week that Johnson would be "welcome in our caucus."

Ape's are as equally offended. I have more respect for them then all humans.

On behalf of all ape's. I'd like to tell all you humans. Your all dickheads. The progressives are hypocrites about it though.

Personally, I would be looking to hear from people in those states, solidly blue for generations, who turned tables and went red. What was it that drove them to forsake their party in favor of Donald Trump - of all people. Donald Trump is a complete anathema to my understanding of what the Democratic Party once stood for, so what made them do it?
Apparently wives of guys whose hubbies and themselves have lost good jobs to foreigners that supported their families and now they see their families falling apart. It's natural for a mom to want her family to thrive and they just never saw a future with Hillary.

Were I driven by the genuine need to KNOW why Trump was elected, Canadian Content would not be my first choice in the search.

It would be one of mine. The anonymity of a web forum mirrors the anonymity of a voting booth. Most of the Trumpites would be laughed out of the room if they tried to spew their rhetoric in public around here...and I live in a pretty right-wing conservative part of the country

Bye..don't let the door hit your a$$ on the way out. Your rant places you high on the scale of man-hating b*tch and makes any little bit that may have some validity not worth reading. Some of what you say may be correct but hey, even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes and it is obvious you are a self-centered misandrist who cannot even recognize you spew the same drivel toward me that you complain about toward women.

I rest my case. This twit would be thrown out the door ANYWHERE around here if he publicly spoke to a woman like that

It must be scary living there as a liberal lefty like you. Of course Edmonton is one of the few liberal places in the province. Probably why you get so confused all the time about things. You believe voting NDP is right-wing

I'm sure liberal SJWs like you would try but I know my rights, I'm not afraid to speak my mind and I don't care if it offends your tender little snowflake sensibilities.

You don't seem to have a problem with the way she spewed venom towards men though. Your hypocrisy is noted

Maybe Michele Obama isn't pretty. I'm remembering another First Lady, " Eleanor Roosevelt " that probably was less attractive than Mrs. Obama. What the fukk does that have to do with anything? Doesn't diminish Mrs. Roosevelts character . Neither does physical appearance mean a damn thing concerning anyone. Got some moronic , small minded azzholes hangin around like dingleberries these days.
