This wasn't a 'bit of news' - Obama was completely stymied in that debate and the public at large responded to that stumble. He will need to generate an overwhelming victory in the next go-around, but I'd wager that while he may 'win', the odds are that he won't be able to bulldoze Romney to the point where the first beating is forgotten.

The gap in the polls may narrow, but it will almost certainly never reverse

Actually that is all it was..........."a bit of news", I doubt very much that he was "completely stymied".............you ever have a bad day? excruciating belly ache, dealing with a piece of bad news, worried sick about something, your wife just threw the casserole at you because you were less than complimentary about it!!! I'll bet old Romney is pissing himself with his perceived good fortune right now, but it doesn't change the facts that many people don't trust him. You'd do well to "sing small" until Nov. 6.

Nov. 6 will tell. There's well over 200 million people involved in this. Smart people don't pay too much attention to a few dozen computer quacks.

Quite a few were sure paying attention to them a couple of weeks ago. Just saying. :)

Oh I hear you. This election is up for grabs. I am not sure who will win... but I wasn't one of the ones "singing big" when the polls came out a few weeks ago in favor of Obama.

But Obama was pummeled in the debate. The media was so surprised and caught themselves giving the debate to Romney. I have a hunch that next debate no matter what happens they'll declare Obama the winner.

To that little, wee, insignificant news blip?

I can't imagine who that would be

Well, let's just hope and pray that Mr Commander-in-Chief doesn't criticize Mrs Commander-In-Chief's casserole before the next debate. That would be awful if the little Mrs threw another casserole at him.... How would security deal with that attempt? Who would wash-out the stain and iron his shirt?

Indeed, that would be a bad day

A whole bunch of them. They had a nice thread going. What a time they had. Heck there was no need for an election from the posts I was reading.

What about the altitude? Has anyone checked the elevation of Hofstra University above Sea Level? That could play a factor. :)

He probably needed a boot in the ass. Actually I don't really care who wins on Nov. 6 but I do lean toward Obama because he's more trust worthy and has 4 more years experience and he has kept things on a fairly even keel...............doesn't go off half cocked!

That was just an example, it might be a pot of lasagna next time.

Maybe they ought to consider having the next debate at sea!

Romney and Obama could be partially judged on the pirate costumes they bring (home made - non of this store bought stuff)... Pretend swords and eye patches; you know; all the trimmings

Hint: it always adds some authenticity to pin a stuffed-parrot on your shoulder and call him Polly

Experience at what? Making a bad economy worse and tripling the debt? I agree there if that is what you mean.

Was it he who made the economy worse? What about Freddie and Fanny and the likes of Ken Lay and Bernie Madoff?

Oh... I forgot... suddenly the President is not responsible because his name is Obama.

Obama 'believed he had BEATEN Romney' in Denver debate - after ignoring advice of top aides on preparation

 • Obama believes he'd got the better of Romney as he walked off stage to the dismay of his aides, according to a Democrat close to the campaign
 • The President failed to prepare properly, opting instead to visit the Hoover Dam the day before the showdown
 • Democrat claims he was so disdainful of Romney that he didn't think he needed to even engage with him
 • Had one-liners on 47% prepared but chose not to use them

Oh I believe that. He's been listening to everyone tell him that the election is over and that it was already won. He's been listening to the media's portrayal of Romney being so stupid.

Romney Chokes Up, Delivers Moving Tribute To Navy SEAL Killed In Benghazi…

Compare Romney’s sincerity with the pompous ego-maniac currently inhabiting the White House.
Via CNN:
Mitt Romney knew one of the former Navy SEALS killed in this year’s Sept. 11 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, he told an Iowa audience Tuesday.

The GOP presidential nominee choked up as he described meeting the man his campaign confirmed was Glen Doherty, who was killed in the Libya attack.

“We had a lot of things in common,” Romney said of Doherty, recalling the two had skied at some of the same places, and that when they met Doherty had discussed his care and concern for people he had met working in the Middle East. “You can imagine how I felt when I found out that he was one of the two former Navy SEALS killed in Benghazi on Sept. 11th.”
Romney only recently learned for certain that Doherty was the same man he had met at a party in La Jolla, California, a campaign spokesman said.

Kid Rock endorses Romney for President..

Kid Rock performs "Born Free" at a Mitt Romney for President Rally at the Royal Oak Music Theater in Michigan. Video by Celeste Katz, New York Daily News.

"The Most Interesting Man in the World," "The Most Arrogant Man in the World illustrates how Obama believes he can just essentially push his agenda regardless of the congress which has made many believe he has an arrogant leadership style. This video takes a look at him accepting the Nobel Peace Price for doing nothing, picking Joe Biden as VP just to prove he doesn't need one, referring to the Supreme Court as just another unelected body, week stand on Iran and much more. Features new ending for "Don't Be a Donkey", dontbeadonkey.com which is a new site that will feature numerous new parody videos going into the 2012 election. Hope you get a Chuckle out of this one.

I agree.

Is that all the President can come up with? Big Bird and Sesame St.? He has not stopped yelping about Sesame St. characters. This is all the Obama Campaign can come out with after last weeks disaster.

Or is he perhaps trying to appeal to his base who seem to have not advance beyond Sesame St. in terms of intelligence.
