He did not claim a NET increase of 12 million jobs, he said his policies resulted in 12 million new jobs - and that's 100% true.
The facts he cites support his thesis. The real story here is you should have been fact checking the Republicans & their "magical" trickle down theories they've been blathering on about for years. The other real story is that our President managed to accomplish everything he did while dealing with record obstruction from the GOP.
You are arguing semantics like the lady next door that was telling my wife that she had won $50 at the bingo, when I asked her how much it cost her to go, she said $35.

The GOP is in opposition to the policies of the President as is most of the country. That is why the Democrats took one of the biggest beatings in November. Republicans weren't elected to roll over for the President.

With a corrupt, obstructionist congress and everything that has been thrown at Obama the last six years, 50% is pretty impressive - and it's a number that has only risen over the course of the last few years.
It's also better than Bush by a wide margin, who, at this point in his presidency, was said to be a success by 39% of the country. Clinton, who came in at 77%, remains overall perceived to be more successful - but I wouldn't be surprised, if the economy continues to grow, that by the end of his presidency Obama is closer to Clinton.
Has anyone noticed the consequences of Obama's feckless foreign policy in the middle east and north africa? Syria has used chemical weapons again despite its agreement with Obama to get rid of chemical weapons. American diplomatic personnel and US military forces have evacuated from Yemen. The US has evacuated diplomatic personnel from Libya. Obama has united all classes and interests in Egypt in hatred of him. Iraq has fallen completely into the Iranian camp. Israel and the US are estranged and alienated. The struggle between Saudi Arabia and Iran has come to the Saudi border. The Kurds have made common cause with the Iranians. Obama has blessed Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons. The Palestinian-Israeli talks haven't materialized. Israel has abandoned the two state solution. I could go on. Any questions?

Obama has caved to Iranian demands on the nuclear negotiations. Iran will still be able to enrich uranium without verification. And apparently the treaty won't be put in writing. My God, who among you can defend Obama's conduct of these negotiations.
Obama is the Father of the Russian-Chinese Alliance against America. That's quite an accomplishment.
There is plenty of verification by the looks of it. What's the other option, just wishing it would all go away without an agreement?
The other options is to retain sanctions and continue negotiating until Iran agrees to transfer its ten tons of highly enriched uranium stockpile out of the country, and so more advanced centrifuges can't be developed.
