Blamer-In-Chief: I Bear “Full Responsibility For Everything”…

George W. Bush unavailable for comment.

(CNN) – President Barack Obama discussed his frustration with gridlock in Washington, saying his “biggest disappointment” in his nearly four years in office has been the failure to oversee change in the nation’s political climate.
“My biggest disappointment is that we haven’t changed the tone in Washington as much as I would have liked,” Obama said in a CBS News interview that aired Sunday.

Asked if he bears any blame for the stalemate, Obama said the buck stops at his desk.

“I think that, you know, as president I bear responsibility for everything, to some degree,” he said on CBS’ “60 Minutes.”

Throughout the presidential campaign, Mitt Romney’s campaign and Obama’s critics have dogged the president for failing to get certain legislation passed in recent years, while Team Obama responds by faulting congressional Republicans for not compromising.

Obama Refers to Israel Concern Over Iran as 'Noise'

In an interview to air tonight on CBS's 60 Minutes, President Barack Obama will refer to Israel's concern over Iran's march toward a nuclear program as "noise."

"When it comes to our national security decisions -- any pressure that I feel is simply to do what's right for the American people. And I am going to block out -- any noise that's out there," Obama says, according to AFP.

Obama Campaign Flag Poster Quietly Yanked From Website…

Via BuzzFeed:
The item, known as “Our Strips: Flag Poster” redesigned the American flag using the Obama for America logo. The print was the target of conservative backlash last week.

A page where the flag was now returns as error page. A cached version of the website still shows the product but returns a error page when attempting to add the item to the cart.
Of course the fact that it was widely ridiculed and looked eerily similar to the aftermath of the attack on our consulate in Benghazi had nothing to do with the decision.

Poll: Romney Beating Obama Among Middle Class Voters By 14 Point Margin…

But… but… but… Obama’s a “working class hero” or something.

Via Washington Secrets:
Middle income Americans aren’t just abandoning President Obama, but believe that his vice president is less qualified than Republican running mate Rep. Paul Ryan to be president.

By margins of up to 22 percent for those earning $60,000-$75,000, likely voters polled by Rasmussen Reports feel that the Wisconsin congressman most known for penning the austere House GOP budget has the chops to be president more than Joe Biden, a long-time senator before becoming vice president three years ago.

The poll tracks the Politico-George Washington University Battleground Poll that found Mitt Romney leading President Obama among the middle class by 14 points, a shocker to some who believed that Romney’s wealthy background would be a turnoff to middle income workers.

Gingrich Destroys Obama: ‘Barack Obama Wakes Up Every Morning and Thinks About Barack Obama’

VAN SUSTEREN: You know, it’s pretty amazing when you have ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and even “Time” magazine with the headline, Obama comes to New York for Barbara Walters and sort of U.N.” why isn’t he meeting with anybody?

GINGRICH: I think it’s a comment on the depth of his arrogance. I think this is a person that doesn’t actually care what the world thinks, doesn’t actually care what the American people thinks. And if he gets reelected, he’ll be right and the rest of us will be wrong. I mean, his view his is all about a cynical, calculated approach. “The View” gets him more votes than meeting with 10 or 15 world leaders.

And the fact that he’s not doing his job is irrelevant. You have to divide it into two parts. There’s winning the office and there is actually being president. He’s clearly said, If I can win the office, I don’t care what the rest of you think.

And let me say, what should really deeply bother Americans is how does all this play out in the rest of the world? Imagine you were an ambassador trying to explain to the president of Egypt or the president of China or the president of Germany, the chancellor of Germany, You know, the president can’t meet with you because there’s no time on his schedule because he has to go do “The View.”

Great article on why the Bamster's economic recovery won't happen.

Economics One: Regulatory Expansion Versus Economic Expansion in Two Recoveries

Great article all right! I quit reading after the second sentence- "
Both recessions were severe, and U.S. history shows that severe recessions tend to be followed by fast recoveries, even when the severe recession is due to a financial crisis."
Just a big crock of Bullsh*t! If you are familiar with history you will know that the Dow Jones recovered to the 1929 level in 1955. I don't know what calendar your are on but 26 years is a long time on my calendar.

Obama Campaign Touts His “Overwhelmingly Satisfying Handshake”…

Here’s a close-up of Obama’s handshake with Nicolas Sarkozy, seems a tad effeminate to me.

Via Washington Examiner:
President Obama’s campaign posted a supporter letter today that rallies female voters by touting his health care law and “overwhelmingly satisfying handshake.”
“President Obama and I have a unique relationship,” a Nevada campaign volunteer, Samantha, wrote in a letter that the Obama campaign posted on its website. “We have never had any contact beyond a quick (and overwhelmingly satisfying) handshake at a local rally in August, but our connection is something that I could not experience with anyone else. Without him knowing who I am or what I’m about, he works hard to protect my rights as a woman, as an American citizen, and as a human being.”

The Good: Hillary Clinton Calls For Loosening Regulations On Small Businesses Because “Too Many People Still Can’t Find Jobs” – The Bad: In Tunisia, Egypt And Libya…

Great idea, but why not here?

(CNSNews.com) – Speaking to a group of foreign ministers from Arab nations at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York on Friday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed support for loosening regulations, particularly on small businesses, because “too many people still can’t find jobs”–in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya.

In Libya, according to an estimate published in May by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development [OECD], real Gross Domestic Product is expected to grow this year at a rate of 20.1 percent—or about 15 times the 1.3 percent annualized rate at which real GDP grew in the United States in the second quarter of this year. The OECD further estimated that Libya’s real GDP would grow by another 9.5 percent next year.

Yes I find economics quite boring and don't follow the techmicals much (at all) but I remember reading about that. What did they call it, the Great Recession? :)
