Obama Reportedly Claims to Know More About Judaism Than Any Other President


The day before he mistakenly attributed the German death camps — where millions of Jews were murdered — to Poland, President Obama met with twenty leading Conservative rabbis to thank them for their shared commitment in rebuilding the U.S. economy, and their collective contributions to society.


There, according to the Israeli news site Haaretz, “Obama … stressed he probably knows about Judaism more than any other president, because he read about it.”


“I [am] not going to tell you again how I even feel about Israel, but why [are] we still talking about it?” he reportedly asked rhetorically.

The president also wondered why no one asks Speaker of the House John Boehner or Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell about their support for the Middle East’s only real democracy.


William Kristol of the Weekly Standard responded to Obama’s question in a piece, writing: “The reason no one asks John Boehner or Mitch McConnell about their support for Israel is … because they really do support Israel. The reason people ask Barack Obama about his support for Israel is because his support for Israel has been equivocal.”

Amanda Bynes Asks Barack Obama For 'Help' With DUI



I wish this were a joke, but Amanda Bynes has just tweeted at Barack Obama to help her out with her recent DUI charge. Does Amanda Bynes a) know how Twitter works and b) know how America works?

Back in April, Amanda reminded us of her presence by getting into a hit and run with a cop car.

Yesterday, she was officially charged with a DUI and since she sideswiped a cop car, attempted to flee the scene, and refused to take a breathalyzer, she can face a maximum of up to 6 months in prison. But since she’s famous, I mean there is “jail overcrowding,” she’ll probably go to jail for a couple hours and then do some handiwork at the County Morgue. Probably.

Anyway, this scared the crap out of Bynes and so she turned to the only law enforcement figure she knew of: The President.

Tuesday evening, Amanda wrote on Twitter, “Hey @BarackObama…I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end.”

Wait! We can tweet our complaints to Barack Obama and he’ll do something about it!?

Here goes, “Hey @BarackObama, there’s a pot hole on the street outside my apartment. Please fix it. The end.”

“Hey @BarackObama…My neighbors listen to really loud music after 10pm and I’m having trouble sleeping. Please arrest them. I also don’t hit and run. The end.”

Amanda asked the President to arrest the cop that arrested her, because she supposedly doesn’t drink!

Amanda Bynes apparently wants us to believe that a 26-year-old who parties in Hollywood and hits cars with her own car, is doing all that sober.

We're hoping she'll claim that her Twitter was hacked, she can't really be this ridiculous, can she?

This isn’t the first time she’s tried to convince us of her sobriety.

Way to go, Amanda Bynes. Your ridiculous legal history means you’re on your way to becoming the next Lindsay Lohan. In a couple years, if you’re lucky, you might get to play Anna Nicole Smith in a lifetime movie! Fingers crossed!

So what is life like as an intern with Obama for America, the closest most students can get to being an employee of the president’s re-election campaign?

President Obama Clarifies “Private Sector Is Doing Fine” Remarks





With Republicans seizing upon remarks he made earlier in the day that “the private sector is doing fine” – arguing that they show a president out of touch with an ailing economy — President Obama sought to clarify his remarks Friday afternoon.

“It’s absolutely clear the economy is not doing fine,” the president said while sitting alongside Philippines President Benigno Aquino in the Oval Office. “That’s the reason I had a press conference. That’s why I spent yesterday, the day before yesterday, this past week, this past month and this past year talking about how we can make the economy stronger. The economy is not doing fine. There are too many people out of work. The housing market is still weak, too many homes underwater and that’s precisely why I asked Congress to start taking some steps that can make a difference.”

Decrying the “political games” that in his view necessitated the further elucidation, the president said “if you look at what I said this morning” what he was specifically addressed was that “we’ve actually seen some good momentum in the private sector. That has not been the biggest drag on the economy.”

That said, the president said that there were many other problems with the economy, including small business owners have difficulties securing financing, and state and local governments laying off teachers, police officers and firefighters. That’s why, he said, he was pushing for his “Jobs Bill” that independent economists argue would create a million jobs.

“So let me be as clear as I can be: the economy needs to be strengthened,” the president said, “that’s why I had a press conference. :lol: I believe that there are a lot of Americans who are hurting right now, which is what I’ve been saying for the last year, two years, three years. What I’ve been saying since I came into office. And the question then is what are we going to do about it?”

The president said “what I’m interested in hearing from Congress and Mr. Romney is what steps are they willing to take right now that are going to make an actual difference. And so far what we’ve heard are additional tax cuts that the folks who are doing fine as opposed to taking steps that would actually help deal with the weaknesses in the economy and promote the economic growth that we’d all like to see.”

An audio statement posted on jihadist websites purportedly from Al-Shabaab jeered news that the United States is offering millions of dollars for information on seven key members of al-Shabaab through its Rewards for Justice program.

New push against militants in Somalia The man on the audio claimed to be Fuad Mohamed Khalaf, considered by the State Department to be Al-Shabaab’s leading fundraiser. The United States has offered $5 million for information of his whereabouts.

“Whoever brings the mujahidin information about the whereabouts of infidel Obama and the lady of Bill Clinton, the woman named Hillary Clinton, I will give a reward,” the man said.

A study by Galkayo University, which looked at the effects of drought on livestock, said the average cost of a camel in Somalia is $700.

CNN can not independently verify the authenticity of the audio recording, which was purportedly made by Khalaf during a speech to followers in the southern port city of Merca. . . .

This year, he and al Qaeda’s leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, released a joint video formally announcing a merger between the terror groups.
