What would raising taxes on the (2% of the population) rich really do to lower the deficit? No. It is just another ploy to get the other 98% to go yea, yea lets do it, that will solve our problem. As for what gets cut, I do not agree with what he suggested, but I do think that just about everything needs some trimming including the size of those running and administrating the government by at least 30%.
What percentage of the tax does that 2% of the population pay????
