Ironsides, Star Parker is a black who also happens to belong to extreme right, she rights regularly in the extreme right website such as WorldNetDaily. I wouldn’t’ take her word for anything. Indeed, I would be worried if she says anything complementary about Obama.

By the same logic, everything written, said and quoted by Bob Beckel, James Carville, Paul Begala, Eugine Robinson, Clerance Page, Eleanor Clift, Moron Dud (aka Maureen Dowd) can be dismissed as nonsense.

Possibly. But here we are talking of Star Parker. Nobody has quoted anything from James Carville, Bob Beckel etc.

If somebody quotes something from any of them, then your statement will have relevance, right now it doesn’t.

Nobody quotes here form left wing journalists, but conservatives are quick to quote from the right wing fringes, right wingers like Star Parker.

Perfectly understandable, SirJosephPorter. With the possible (probable) exception of you, even the most liberal of liberals have a sense of decency, so they do not go and quote out and out lies.

I see, but they don't have any problem quoting the lies by the right wing journalists. If you are going to quote from a right wing journalists, you can hardly blame somebody if they point out that the journalists is a right wing one.

To this perfectly justified criticism, then to bring in a whole bunch of left wing journalists (for no reason at all) is Trolling.

If I understand what you're saying, it's because you disagree with her political ideology, so everything she says is suspect. Is that what you mean?

Just when I am in total despair, thinking that the entire Left-wing world is against me, I receive a totally unexpected, but well-appreciated support from TenPenny.

I guess wonders never cease.

That is just what I mean, TenPenny. I am not saying that what she is saying is necessarily nonsense, it may have some sense in it, I don’t know. But knowing her background, it will be difficult to say where she is saying the truth, where she is wildly exaggerating, where she is simply inventing facts etc.

Columns written by journalists with obvious political bias make good reading for the base of the party, and usually are written with a view of firing up the base. But they usually are not taken seriously by population at large.

And that is why you will never see me quoting left wing journalists. It is difficult to know where they are reliable and where they are not.

Re #968.

Correct me if I am wrong, SirJosephPorter, but I thought you responded to the post by the poster you quoted, TenPenny.

Be that as it may, but you routinely dismiss anyone and EVERYONE, be it an individual, or a news organization, or a poster here, any pollsters who have the unmitigated nerve to disagree with you. Then adding insult to injury you ALWAYS try to spin and twist any and all facts to prove you right.

History proves that more times than not, you are absolutely WRONG!

SirJosephPorter, once you criticized me for using the Edit feature.

Looks like you also mastered the art.

Your post #968 looks suspiciously different from the original.

American politics in the last year or so has taken on a new level of importance for some reason so narrowing all the fluff down i'll put my trust in a political party that wants to help its people by instituting affordable health care for every one and wants to get the troops out of some pointless war, saved the countries financial credibility and saved 10 million jobs in the auto industry, as opposed to the last administration that had no problems starting wars all over and spending the country out of existence and as yet had to answer no accountability for their actions as the Republicans have now forgotten about 8 years of inept governing and the timeline seems to go from Clinton to Obama:dontknow:
Any one notice how this whole tempest in a teapot is starting to look like a Jerry Springer or Maury Povich show, think i'll stick with the more important issues in life.

Did anyone see the Obama speech at the UN? I thought the climate change element was contrived and weak. We'll see what the reaction will be like to the propsed ban on subsidizing fossil fuels at the G20 summit later this week.
watch the speech here

I also watched Qudaffi speak.

Between the the two of them, it was hard to see which one wanted to stab America in the back more.

EagleSmack, you and your fellow Marines can and have conquered any and all enemies.

The only thing that is immune to your might is stupidity and ignorance.

So, my advise, should you decide to take it: Don't bother with SirJosephPorter.

"What if it amuses me?"

It may amuse you in the short term, but - believe me - it will frustrate you in the long term.

I'm glad you confirmed that. I do hope you realize what you've said - you've said that BECAUSE you disagree with her political ideology, everything she says is suspect.

And anything wrong with that? I wouldn't believe anything a prolifer says, for instace, I wouldn't believe anything a gay basher says. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Do you see how racist you are?

Walk up to Star and say...

"You're a black."

...see what she would say. Probably say you're a racist...

And she'd be right.

EagleSmack, according to Star Parker (same as according to you), most liberals are racist. That means nothing. I think it is a safe bet that if Star Parker runs for any public office, she will get very few black votes, even though she is black. And against a white liberal candidate too. The white liberal will get more than 90% of the votes against Star Parker, if the current trends are any indication.

Reminds me of the election when Alan Keyes, a black conservative challenged Obama for the Illinois senate seat. Keyes got very few black votes, even though he is black. Obama trounced him, I think it was 65 to 35 or something like that.

When it comes to racism , conservatives just don’t have the credibility.
