Twila I don't want to engender bad feelings but in the present western configuration of alleged civilization the term "progressive society" has very little in the way of tangible substantialization and very much of unrealizable nirvanic idealization well illustrated by the now infamous " hope and change" road show of the most recent selection of the most illustrious of the " progressive society" warriors
BH Obama. Rather than our western society progressing we have definite tangible regression of outstanding visability. Of course just because I don't see any societal progress does not mean it is not underway.
Them thar is fine words. Dang sight better than Jethro cyperin and that's sayin a bunch

yes. You are right. I should have prefaced my use of progressive with it's dictionary definition, not in it's current societal meaning.

I'm just very curious whenever I see some of these newish terms like social progression or social progressives. Without the fuller descriptions there's an atmosphere of missing exactitude that I find misleading wheather or not disinformation is the intent. Maybe I'm to old for societal progressions.

It a very fine afternoon here I think I'll walk up over the hill and look for a handfull of liberty caps.

Psilocybin, the nootropic compound found within psychoactive mushroom species, is proving to be the medicinal key to eradicating mental illnesses and returning lost cognitive ability. Published in Experimental Brain Research, a study conducted by lead researcher Dr. Juan R. Sanchez and his team investigated psilocybin's ability to bind certain receptors in the brain which stimulate healing and growth. Results showed that psilocybin's effect on the mind vitalizes the reparation of damaged brain cells and is also highly effective in relieving depression and PTSD.

For the study, mice that had been conditioned to hearing a noise prior to receiving a shock were treated with psilocybin. The behavior of the mice that were treated was then compared to those that received a saline treatment. This comparison demonstrated that the mice that were given a carefully calculated dosage of psilocybin showed little or no fear response to hearing the noise-trigger whereas the saline-treated mice continued to panic in anticipation every time. Some of the mice were given an excessive dose of psilocybin which resulted in an even greater, more intense fear response than before, showing that if psilocybin is to be accepted as a medicine, then it must be respected as a medicine.

I guess I will pass on the magic shrooms then. I don't want to be shocked. lol

Serially, if I don't need anything medicinal, I won't take it usually. If it is recreational, I treat it as such.
