First dibs but not ownership. Treaties are documents used post surrender.

The forestry part is still up for interpretation, but first rights to cruise the Canadian Littoral and harvest fish? How cool a deal is that?

You are the Corporations, You are the Gov. You are the poor sap who is caught up in malarkey and supports violence and terrorism.

You know damn well that it's wrong, you leech off the Corporations, the Gov and the poor working saps.

You babble about the world ending but sit on your *** criticizing things you know nothing about in a world you haven't entered for what, 3 decades now?
My, aren't we judgemental about someone you know nothing about. AZZumptions and presumptions don't speak truth. You have no idea where I've been, what I've done or what I know. But I will leave you and the usual suspects to wallow in your delusions.

Not really. The Bear is at the point of 'discovering his Native roots' , where he seeks commonalities where none really exist. I know a little about Plains buffalo cultures, more the Northern ones.
But he will get there, when his queries become less pointless.

Thanks for your modern take on bear baiting.:D

You are welcome, but The Bear demands as a precondition your absolute surrender to his superior Aboriginal knowledge, so I am not sure if this welcome has to be referred to a consultant , first...

And a complete and total racist to boot, just ask the Bear...

His " weal. we wouldn't be burning the police cars EXCEPT they showed disrespect to our chiefs ...is pure hokum.
Its seismic work, for Gaud's sake, NOT a drilling rig!

Come clean, Canadian Bear, you run an " Aboriginal affairs consultancy- -Fess up. Or hope to operate such.

That said, I'm not an expert on the Micmac, but there are treaty issues. For Instance, they do have first rights, I believe, on 'scarce harvestable', such as fishing licenses and timbering, in NB.

I'm OK with that. Its the deal we made.

Ayyyuh,the Turtle Island Dream...

BUT, if we ever meet in fair combat and I come out second, C-Bear, you can still scalp me- under Blackfoot Confederacy rules...

CDN Bear is off base, according to the Micmac Treaty sites:
The Confederacy of Mainland Mi'kmaq (CMM) - History and Culture

They are entitled, under treaty of 1751, to first dibs on the Maritime fisheries and Crown land forestry, Which is a DARN good deal.

You are welcome, but The Bear demands as a precondition your absolute surrender to his superior Aboriginal knowledge, so I am not sure if this welcome has to be referred to a consultant , first...

PPOO' Bear. Wandering from "I'm a victim of those racists' to " I'm created in a superior creation' in the same thread.
Fess up.
Your therapist guides your posts. and He's running another Drum N Feather insurance scam....

Wow, all that effort and none of it based in reality.

I really must have hurt your feelings when I asked you a question you couldn't answer, of course leaving you, Mr. Aboriginal affairs expert, all embarrassed, lol.

Here, fill this out and file it with the appropriate authorities...

You're still feeling all hurt and emotional I see.

Calm down, slow down and take a breath, you'll get through it.

Good luck.

Edit noted...

OOO OOO OO that was Weally Wascist. eh?
Nope, just silly and stupid.

Not that that came as a shock or anything, lol.

That's all well and good but what you quoted wasn't anything that I had to say to you. That was a direct reply to insulting b.s. from someone I'd always actually been fairly respectful to directly. Because he'd always been respectful to me.

Until now.

So all bets are off there.

This is what I had directed to you.

You'll have to elaborate a bit more on that. But please keep in mind that I'm already rather pissed at being told that I don't think for myself.

HMMMM.... That's interesting- but what, exactly, did I ever do to you to provoke this reaction? In my world, respect is a reciprocal arrangement...

Mine too, which would explain why you and PN get what you get... ;-)

It was directed at me. She was all pissy I mocked her about being bear's lap dog.
Well you do tend to say a lot of stupid things, so, well, you know, lol.

I do love your new avatar. I love how you're quaking in the middle there. I would imagine that's how you look when you get all emotional.

Oh, and the new moniker, "The Troll Bashing Troll", lmao. You actually have to bash a troll to call yourself that. You getting bashed by a Cannibal Troll, until you lose it and get all emotional, doesn't count.

But thanks for the great laugh.

Compared to you two, I am a "guru of all things" period, lol.

Ya, I'll be here for a while, I love watching sock puppet shows.

Rex Murphy: A rude dismissal of Canada’s generosity | National Post

Watch the vid, understanding that throwing molotov cocktail enables the use of lethal force in response.

The police were extremely gentle.

Too gentle, IMHO.

I am very disappointed that the professional protestor natives involved cannot even explain what fracking is. I worked for Fracmaster in Alberta in the 70's and we did hundreds of thousands of fracs. Oddly enough everyone is still alive. My uncle had fracs done on the well on his land within 300 yards of his house in the 70's, he is retired now at age 92 and very healthy.
I am also sick and tired of various representatives of my people lying and using lawyers to lie for them, we should have let them starve in their dump shacks years ago.

There are actual changes needed to the Indian act, first one being, no Indian act. Our family worked to get where they are now, many others lied and sat back whining.
