Oh right...satire ;)

Oh the life of "real man" is a glorious one. After being asked about an article he wrote claiming rape should be legal, Valizadeh reportedly told police the piece was "satire."

The 'Legal Rape' Guy Is So Afraid Of Being Beaten Up He's Hiding In His Mom's Basement

You probably heard a lot about Daryush Valizadeh yesterday, the guy who runs a website called The Return of Kings along with others who believe rape should be legalized, as long as it's on private property.

This week, he had been planning meet-ups around the world with similarly-minded people including in Sydney, London, and Toronto. People got pissed, and in what was the greatest twist of irony ever, Valizadeh had to call off the events because he was unable to "guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who want to attend." An all-female boxing team even threatened to crash rallies in Toronto, Canada.

But how will he be spending his weekend? Apparently in this mother's basement.

The Daily Mail managed to track Valizadeh down to his mother's house in Maryland. They posted several photos of Valizadeh in a "sweat stained" t-shirt talking to police, who he had called because of all the death threats he has received.

Oh the life of "real man" is a glorious one. After being asked about an article he wrote claiming rape should be legal, Valizadeh reportedly told police the piece was "satire."

Valizadeh then played police several voicemails of people saying he would be "shot, stabbed or have his home burned down."

Apparently Valizadeh is pretty terrified about the thought of women who will actually put up a fight. Hopefully his mom grounds him and takes away the internet.

What a lovely example of ignorance at its finest. I don't like what you have to say, so I'll beat you up if you say it.

These people should be ashamed.

the people have spoken, I guess.

Seems he's misjudged the reaction he'd get. And then promptly back pedalled and claimed satire.

The people have threatened violence.

That's just ignorance, no matter how you try and dress it up.

What proves not only ignorance, but a definite lack of cognitive skills is the fact that these peoples solution (including the terminally stupid on this board) advocate violence as a solution to a "violent" crime.

The women's boxing team being a prime example of a lack of working brain cells.

It's not even a violent crime. Whether he legitimately advocates rape or not, isn't a violent crime. It's ignorant, satire or otherwise.

Except for all the ones in the emotional centres of their brains.

He has "triggered" many emotional brains.

He's 'triggered' every woman who has ever been sexually assaulted and/or raped and he's "triggered" many of their fathers, brothers, husbands, sisters, mothers, etc.

If might is right, then....

Quite.

My wife's an abuse survivor. She isn't triggered. She thinks he's a pig. She firmly believes that he should be allowed to speak, and challenged on his positions. Not threatened with violence.

She's right. He should be challenged mentally. Some people are incapable of clear thinking. Isn't that how the west was won? braun over brain?

Both actually.

But aren't we supposed to be evolving away from that?

Maybe it should be a crime automatically guilty if she was drunk
Wouldn't that change things up a bit? If someone was drunk a
stand up guy would pass until she was sober. No in my opinion
Gerry is right if you have to get her drunk you don't deserve it.
Don't let the defense use the drunk excuse for sexual assault,
drunk driving or any other unlawful offense even for murder or
manslaughter. No drunk or on drugs excuses anymore

How many men have been merely charged, and had their life ruined despite also being drunk?

I refer you back to my post about what I tell my boys.

Really, Bear, what it comes down to is that SOMEONE needs to be responsible. If we can't rely on women to be that person, then the men need to step up to the plate. If she's drunk, then it's no. Period. Take responsibility for your actions with no excuses.

And if one of them was drunk, and found themselves charged because she woke up with second thoughts.

But if both parties are drunk. Why is oft the man that has to be responsible, while she gets a pass?

because SOMEONE has to take responsibility for their actions. Is that your answer? "She get's a pass, why can't I"? "This is so not fair."

Personal responsibility. The guy decided to get drunk. All kinds of shyte can go sideways when one is drunk. It was his decision to get drunk, therefore his responsibility when "shyte" happens.

honestly? fear. He scares me.

But if the whole town doesn't want it? why can't the whole town say no? why do they HAVE to let it in?

Because that is yet another form of censorship. Leftards are always banning messages they don't like without seeing the irony in it.
