..and doing it WELL
Perhaps there are just not enough leaks for some observers.
Imagine criticizing COMPETENCE....Now THAT is digging deep....... and finding nothing.
Otto Bellgardt.

Otto Bellgardt was a Berlin policeman. On Kristallnacht, a gang of SA thugs approached the main synagogue, which was in Bellgardt's district, and set a small fire. Bellgardt responded, and told the crowd to disperse and go home. They started yelling and shaking their clubs and knives in the air. Bellgardt coolly drew his pistol and said something to the effect of "disperse or die." They dispersed. Then the firefighters didn't want to put out the fire. Bellgardt told them to do their jobs or rot in jail. They put out the fire.

Otto Bellgardt was a true cop. His loyalty was to the law, the public safety, and the public order.

Otto Bellgardt died on the Eastern Front.

coldstream would have been in the SA gang. And coldstream would have backed down in the face of a man of principle and courage. And if there had been an internet in 1938, he would have been on Stormfront bad-mouthing Otto Bellgardt.

Northern Ontario,
They/we shall look like the wisest ones in the end and you will wonder with embarrassment why you ever believed in that criminal.
When did I say I believe in him I believe in him, from the start I said that he sounded like a used car salesman
And that between him and Clinton the Americans didn't have much of a choice...
I only get a good laugh at all the people obsessed with him, In this forum.....mostly Canadians....
You folks can't do anything about it....why loose sleep over it.....Worry about pretty Boi Trudeau instead,
We have our own problem leader!

Well, Clinton is sleazy but Trump is clearly a major league criminal and most of North America knew it from the get-go. Maybe, if you were a little more perceptive, ....

And that's why you hate him. For doing his job.

I don't hate Mueller. I can just see where he stands in the scheme of things of a deeply polarized American and Western political and economic culture. He represents all of the blind confidence of the corroded Old Order.

And I don't love Trump. I view him as opportunistic, erratic, pugilistic, iconoclastic, unconventional, unrelenting, unapologetic.. and about the only type of individual who can disrupt the corrupt culture that has engulfed the West. He is a loose canon on the turbulent seas and rotten decks of the American Ship of Sate which is the midst of an existential crisis and civilizational descent.

Trump is freaking out in a major way. Meuller must be about to pull the plug on him.

He's even crazier than usual.

folks in general don't know crazy when it is displayed flagrantly right in front of them. Or they "justify" the craziness...... or try to "normalize " it. Of course the supporters are wrapped right up within that psycho bubble he created. They just get angry , defensive and threatening when confronted with the reality his dysfunctional mental state. ergo living in their own alternate reality ...... as fanatical loyalists do

They see his aberrant conduct as a rebellion of tradition, rules, standards and protocol and try to normalize it.

He is a danger to america....... and a serious security risk. THAT much is obvious even to the casual observer You don't have private meetings with leaders that are destructive , bury or have no notes from same........ as that is highly suspect behavior. Ordinarily it is traitorous. History might well view this Trump era as a time when the US lost its collective mind. Or some of it did. Reason has left the Washington. but things might be coming to a head now. It is going to get even uglier. Cohen was right....... watch for some very nasty stuff should Trump lose the election. But then watch for more of the same ugliness should he win. He has really isolated the US ... with only about three "allies". Putin, Kim and the Saudi Prince. er fake allies

Remember the good old days when the republicans controlled congress and Trump could do anything he wanted?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-house-panel-probe-obstruction-1.5040943

U.S. House panel to request documents from Donald Trump Jr. in obstruction probe

'It's very clear that the president obstructed justice,' chair of U.S. House judiciary committee alleges

"We are going to initiate investigations into abuses of power, into corruption … and into obstruction of justice," Nadler said. "It's our job to protect the rule of law."
