Frequently Asked Questions about Saints - Saints & Angels - Catholic Online
I have a question for any Catholics in the house. Is the miracle attributed to Saint Kateri considered by Catholics to be a miracle from God THROUGH Saint Kateri, or did the miracle come from Saint Kateri herself?

What do you mean? You are Catholic if you're Christian. All roads lead to Rome my friend.I have a question for any Catholics in the house. Perhaps, but not to the Catholic Church, it claims to be the one true church via the apostolic succession, the grace and authority of its officials are transmitted by the laying on of hands in a direct line all the way back to the beginning with Jesus and his apostles. Eastern Orthodoxy makes the same claim, as does the Anglican Church, and some Lutheran Churches, with some legitimacy, as they were originally schismatic movements within the Catholic Church so their first officials would have been part of it. Most Protestant denominations deny both the legitimacy and the necessity of it, as of course they must, because they know they don't have it.
Denomination is not minor either
anyone who believes only the properly baptized and reborn brethren will make it through the Day of Judgment cannot possibly really respect people with dissenting views, he knows the fires of Hell await them.
We can certainly agree on that much at least, except that I'd take it one step farther and tell you they've ALL got EVERYTHING wrong.Well I'm here to tell you that any denomination that claims to be the "one true church" or that you must be a member of their church to be accepted by God, or saved, or to make it through Judgment Day, or whatever, is flat out wrong.
That's one of the claims that caused me dismiss all of this stuff as mythology, it's absolutely senseless to me. It means, for instance, that the worst reprobate on the planet can have a deathbed conversion and ascend in a state of grace, while a good and decent person who may never have heard of any of this stuff is doomed. The biblical position is that you are only saved by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Period
Since I'm not going to adhere to Christianity the issue is moot, but in general I'd be far more likely to put my faith in a group of currently living people I can talk to than in claims written almost 2000 years ago by people who understood less about the world than any educated 10-year old does now.If you are going to adhere to Christianity, you tell me what makes more sense, putting your faith in a group of people in a building, or the biblical position which is faith in Jesus Christ?
Then we need an explanation of why those denominations exist at all, and why major wars have been fought between various faction of them, and why so many of them send out missionaries to convert the heathens to their particular denomination. Denominations may be minor in heaven's view, though it beats me how you can possibly know that, but they're certainly not minor here.Denominations are so minor in fact, that when we're in heaven there won't be Catholics, Anglicans, Methodists etc., there will just be God's children. Again, obvious.
No, most of them in my experience do precisely the opposite.Christians...respect your decision to reject God...
