it is not that I see America as having no say in proliferation because of what they hold,
nor is it out of any anti-american stance (to clarify from your exchange with beaver).
but more that I think that humanity itself has to face its greatest threat before a positive change will come.
For humans tend to "bury their heads in the sand",
on just about every issue that occurs beyond the tip of their own noses.
And sometimes it takes a big kick in the pants, a real wake-up call,
to get people to put aside petty differences and work together.
It is dancing in a minefield,
and it seems the only method that works.
Gaia will survive even the worst case scenario,
Humanity may not.
