Perhaps the Americans and the Iranians can get together and play the proverbial fiddle?

Often, it takes loosing it all to realize what one had.
and with that, pop went the world,
to their dismay,
they wished they had only learned,
but it was too little, to late.

but all is not yet lost,
no matter what the propaganda may say.
Something yet, may still "save the day".

But when it is done, no matter which way it goes,
it won't be the "iranian way", or the "american way", or the "chinese way".
it will either be "Gaia's way", or "no way".

better stock up on the popcorn now!

You're over-compensating for the ills of propaganda.

Forget about the propaganda.

And don't be such a voyeur treating this passion play
as some small off-off-off Broadway stage and you are separate from it enjoying your buttered popcorn.

"Emotions come from frustration. The meaning of emotion is frustration in the sense that we are or might be unable to fulfill what we want. We discover our possible failure as something pathetic, and so we develop our tentacles or sharpen our claws to the extreme. The emotion is a way of competing with the projection. That is the mechanism of emotion. The whole point is that the projections have been our own manifestations all along." - Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, The Lion's Roar

Dr Caracal Kid !!

May we continue further therapy ?

You don't mind if I lie down on this couch in your office?

If we accept the postulation or pustule of frustration as
a deficient source to guide us to another door of perception,
then perhaps we little value the idea that truth often comes from
unexpected and much demeaned sources.

Anyway, once again, Caracal Kid, it's been a pleasure
to sit with you.

It's late and I gotta get more sense, I mean sleep.

Namaste, Jim.

Said,
Man is working towards Gaia resetting the playing field, be it either through environmental destruction via extraction of "resources", or via extermination (of fellow men, or other species)

By Gaia resetting you mean an organism that destorys it's environment can't survive. I've never heard of "resetting" so I was curious as to what you meant.

Jim your America is building small nukes for hardened targets, your America wants what it calls a defensive missle system, you,re constantly building more and faster and bigger weapons, how big a dick do you need.Your a victim of your own propaganda.

We DEMAND the BIGGEST D!

Hey we have plenty of small nukes. A target must be pretty damn hard to withstand any size nuke.

We would be foolish NOT to make our weapons faster and quicker. Why is that such a bad thing?

Some countries just don't like us so we are bound to go to war here or there. We have to go in with the BIGGEST D imaginable.

Actually I'm appalled how the liberal left has forsaken
an issue they championed. They were truly in
the vanguard of doing something right.

They championed the cause of NUCLEAR NON-PROLIFERATION.

Sadly like children they've degenerated into being
stymied by hypocrisy and so will do nothing about the
issue of NON-PROLIFERATION unless it is univeral
DIS-ARMAMENT.

Geeezzus.

Why can't we do something that is DO-ABLE, not
the impossible. No nation will tuck its Genie or its
big dick back into its pants, once it has fondled its
own member.

It dosn,t have to be universal dis-armament, America could just unilaterally disarm. And if you,ll check out the international agreements on arms you,ll see who dosn,t want to play the game.
You won,t sign on land mines, you won,t sign on chemical weapons, you won,t sign on biologics, you won,t sign up for the World Court and you constantly fork-up the UN, you only want to steer the big ship by yourselves, as if it could even be steered. Hurricain season coming Jim.

While in principle disarming one's nation in an effort to show good faith to another is a good idea, in practice it would be far too dangerous and would be, in my opinion, negligent on the part of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of a nation to do so (or in Canada's case, the advice of the Cabinet); it would put the citizenry in far too much danger, in my opinion, unless safety could be reasonably guaranteed.

Good, leave it up to Iran. You're pretty wise.

Tons of Italian land mines were found all over Iraq.
France, Germany are among the biggest producers
of chem weapons and nuclear power and weapon know-how. All signatories on these treaties.

You like the talk. Even if it is duplicitous.

And the World Court: The charade of Milosovec's trial
for Serbian attrocities was no better than the Iraqi's
ongoing trial of Saddam. Milosovec grandstanded just
the way Saddam is doing now, and the World Court
is supposed to be the repository of such wisdom ?
What a circus you unwittingly and ignorantly adore.

Jim I am aware that others are pricks with weapons as well as the US, I attack your country first cause your the biggest and meanest, once I have crushed you the others will capitulate and everyone will live happilly ever after. If you had taken the lead in any of the above problems they would have been solved, but you have no intention of cooperation with the rest of the world, remember you lead you do not follow.

And in your foolhardiness posing as wisdom you won't
stand in the way of yet another nation joining
the BIG DICK CLUB.

Congratulations !!

You are very wise.

The really stupid thing is that the U.S. knew of Israel's Nuke ambitions as early as 1961, yet made only one weak rocket attack on the Israeli complex in 1967. The U.S. government then decided it was alright for an ally to have nukes. So when the U.S. adjoined the war against the Afghani government in the 1980s as a way to drain Russian resources, the U.S. turned a blind eye to Pakastani nuke intentions, disregarded the ouster of a democraticly elected Pakastani government and now extoll their military dictorship as comrades against terror. Total crap.

I'm sorry Darkbeaver and PoisonPete2, I respectfully
disagree with your assumptions. I also believe both
of you are just as, if not more, foolhardy in your
outlook as our current crop of political leadership is
throughout the world.

Jimmoyer I made no assumptions, America has been on the top of the heap for sixty years and done nothing to address
disarmament, if you can,t fix your own problem with spectacular political fools how do you expect to fix the worlds. You can,t even stop the spread of country and western music, if you could do that one thing for the world I would stop my WMD programe.
