That’s an adult decision, once you’ve had your kids or are 100% sure you’re ready to opt out of the gene pool (reversal of a vasectomy isn’t as easy as plugging things back in either).

I know it's sometimes not that easy to reverse vasectomies, which is why I am on the fence 'bout it.

Which is different than a few months/years ago since I was all in on it.

This isn’t a decision for a teenager.

Who said it would be teens making the decision?

If parents don't want their kids to have sex because sex = babies, IUD their daughters and do something with their sons. Though there is male birth control, it's still always put on the girl to be in 'charge' of the protection.

And hey, just think! If some asshole decides to rape someone, no rape babies if all boys have to get vasectomies!

(that is sarcasm, since too many here don't seem to get that)

Dominic LeBlanc joined Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on a trip last Friday to Palm Beach, Fla., to see president-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate, where they dined with other incoming White House cabinet nominees.
(Trump called the dinner a "very productive meeting" and Trudeau described it as an "excellent conversation")

The unannounced trip had been arranged earlier in the week when the leaders spoke by phone after Trump threatened to slap a 25 per cent tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada over concerns about illegal immigration and the flow of fentanyl into the U.S., when he takes office in January.

Since Trump’s threat, LeBlanc has sought to reassure Canadians and his American counterparts that it takes border security seriously, pledging in the wake of the threat to send additional police drones and helicopters to the RCMP, as well as having personnel redeployed.

Mark Weber, the national president of the customs and immigration union representing border services officers, said Ottawa should give the agency the power to patrol the entire border, not just official entry points.
He called on the Liberals to repeal an order dating back to 1932, which made the Mounties responsible for border security between entry points, which Weber said is clearly “outdated.” (???)
“The situation is so silly now that if our officers are sitting at one of their workplaces and they see someone crossing just off to where the port is, we have to call the RCMP.” (Really?)

“It’s frustrating for members.”

With a nearly 9,000-kilometre border, Weber said he does not want to replace the RCMP, but for its members to be able to assist. “It seems like an obvious part of this solution to the problem.”

Speaking to reporters on Monday, LeBlanc said the federal Liberals have “taken note” of the idea.

“I’ve discussed that with the commissioner of the RCMP,” the minister said, adding no decision has been made.

Ugh.

Dominic LeBlanc is just like Trudeau; another Political Legacy family (and sadly the MP for my area, though I didn't vote for the ass). So any time I see his name, I cringe.

Hahahaha Trump offered to make Trudeau a governor position if Canada goes bankrupt over tariffs and join the USA as the 51st state

Please say that's satire/BS.

Ditto Ralph Goodale from days gone by. I hear you.

The problem with Dominic is that he's a) a LeBlanc and son of Romeo LeBlanc and b) being a LeBlanc, means he's french, and though there is English in this riding, there are more French so Liberals almost always get in.

I am not sure what he is balyyhooing about. He is right TrueDope is owned but PP made some reasonable points (well in the part of the video he chopped out -- i saw the whole video previously). I think he also answered this guys question in the part he decided not to air. Not sure who he is but he sounds like either a Lieberal hack or and NDP hack to me.

Considering he criticizes both the Libs and NDP, he's not a "hack" for them.

What part of the video was chopped? I've heard what PP said a few times now and he made lots of comments but no real offers of DOING anything, other than undermining Trudeau (not that it's hard, mind you. Trudeau is not handling this properly at all). So if PP has said what he'd actually do, please throw it up here somewhere.

The first point was he suggested removing the carbon tax increase this year. He made several others but that was the first and he cut it.

The first point was he suggested removing the carbon tax increase this year. He made several others but that was the first and he cut it.

I went to get the full video to watch and yes, he did cut out the bullshit PP said after halfway through the 'speech' because it had nothing to do with the point he was making, which was that he was doing NOTHING to help the situation what so ever, and the clip he played proved it.

1. That it WAS A CLIP, aka not the whole video and it wasn't meant to be the whole video.
2. He was showing what PP said to UNDERMINE any negotiations and he shows that by playing *the clip* of what PP said. And since that part of the speech was not edited, he didn't chop anything that was not proving his point thus far.

And after that clip, he states. correctly, that PP was NOT supportive what so ever in what he just finished saying, which does NOTHING to help Canada at all, but does lots to help Trump. He then asks what PP can put down partisanship for and what he can work with the Trudeau Government on? He also rightly asks if that speech served the national interest and does it help Canada in the negotiations (such as there was?)

After that, he points out that PP - again, rightly - did not give a DAMN about Canada and this situation, but about politics and political points.

In a nutshell, he made Canada look pathetic (which as someone wanting to be PM, he shouldn't have done at all regardless of how true it was), and weak (again, shouldn't have done especially with someone like Trump who values strength or at least appearances of despite his opinion of Trudeau, because he is absolutely undermining the whole "Canada First" bullshit by shoving Trudeau under the bus right now), and just criticized Trudeau.

And offered NOTHING himself, other than "I'd put Candada's Workers and Security first! I would be stronger! I would be smarter! I have Backbone! I have Brains!" all to "Stand up for this country" - which he just did NOT do what so ever. And then he took one question from the media, and walked away without giving ANYTHING of what HE would do instead.

Yes, Trudeau is an idiot, but PP has continually done this kind of thing, which shows he is JUST as much an idiot as Trudeau and if Trudeau doesn't deserve to be leader, then neither does PP.

Perhaps rewatch from 6:53 on in the video because he makes valid fucking points there with things after that point.

And here's a video from the LAST time Trump did this bullshit, and the RIGHT type of response to give in the situation.

And news from the time:

In contrast to what PP said, even Harper sounded more reasonable and I would have rather him in office as PM than PP.

I knew one of the local cultists was gonna post this.

Nevermind that it's all AI bullshit - I mean, where he's standing isn't even anywhere NEAR Canada...

But no. Abso-fucking-lutely not. He can idolize Putin as much as he wants but Canada isn't Ukraine.
