That's how vaccines work. White cells carry a blueprint of the CV19 RNA in their database. CV19 is very similar to the other common cold Coronaviruses.

The common cold is obviously curable and we wouldnt have to put up with those f-cking annoying Buckley's commercials.

It's highly promising but still needs to be further tested and peer reviewed. They're also waiting on the other people in the study to see what happens with them, ie they get Covid or not.

I really hope this does lead to something even if it's two injections needed to cover it.

Of course you'll have dipshits that won't take it and I hope to Gods it doesn't mutate the strain to make the vaccines ineffective.

There isnt a peer review process for new drugs or vaccines.
They are patent protected. No "peer" will ever get to review it until after the patent expires.
They need to meet FDA criteria to be approved and that's it.

I can't figure out if progressive cool-aid drinkers want this vaccine or if they don't want it. All we've been hearing is to forget about anything returning to normal until a vaccine is available. A vaccine that is apparently over 90% effective will be available within a couple of months, and now we are being told that "people will have to rely on masking, distancing, contact tracing, hand washing, and other measures to keep themselves safe well into next year", and that the end of the pandemic is far from over.

Why do I get the feeling that the left and the powers-that-be are going to find a way to sabotage and develop a narrative against any potential vaccine that may become available in the coming months? A vaccine is only going to get in the way of the authoritarian agenda, definitely can't have that!

I think those measures will need to continue for a reasonable period while the vaccine is rolled out. The roll out will take several months. And there may be a delay until it is effective once applied. But I think 6 months after rollout we should be able to return to normal.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/09/health/pfizer-covid-19-vaccine-effective/index.html

The measles vaccine has a 90% successful rate and has stamped out measles in the USA
True, but already the anti -vader idiots are actually protesting against the new anti-COVID vaccine in addition to their normal destructive moronic anti -measles, and other proven vaccines.
I don't mind that we have some australopithecus shambling amongst us, but I DO care that they are infecting young children. Measles is NOT a harmless disease & rubella can cause a young girl to be sterile or even birth severely mentally damaged babies.

I really hate Big Government but I hate seeing thousands of preventable deaths much more.

I agree with you, but I think it will be almost a year from now when we can all breath a bit easier.

Your lack of knowledge regarding pharmaceuticals shines forth as brightly as a black dog on an abandoned coal mine.
