I generally don't get all weepy about the good ol' days, but there was a lot to be said for "Turn on the TV, flip around the channels."

We had it better than that. We only got one channel that came in clear, and one mostly fuzzy one .

Yeah i remember it being like that on the prairies. One mostly clear cbc and 2 that were a combination of tv show and screen from the matrix. "after a while you don't even see the code any more, it's just blond hair, blue eyes.."

That’s like one TV channel and one or two radio stations. In the city before cable with rabbit ears, we had three channels. We were living large!!
